  • Hi there, I'm Vietnamese and would like to buy Shepherd's purse. Is there another name or nickname it goes by so I can go into a Chinese supermarket in my area? I live in the bay area of California. thanks so much! I've read it's "ji-cai" or "jiu tsai" and wasn't sure if it's commonly sold around here.

  • @10Speech it goes by jicai ji4cai4 荠菜。

  • Thank you! Great videos. I am actually looking for vegetarian filling for the dumplings. I am trying to recreate ones from my favorite restaurant.

  • i love this video! :D

  • @EasyChineseFood Hey, can you tell me white type of flour is 'All purpose', Is it a plain flour?

  • @faithfulxplayfulxlov

You can add anything inside them it won't matter if you don't add one ingredient :) just don't mess with the dough's ingredient !! Also, if it's too sticky try using corn or potato starch !! Hope that works ( T_T)\(^-^ ) がんばれ!

  • ah, mixing the food with chopsticks, this is the real deal folks

  • Hey I just wanted to say thank you for making this video i really appreciate the fact that someone would take the time out of their day to make a really informative video that's so easy to understand.THANXX =)

  • how do you make it less sticky? I add flour but it still gets sticky :(

  • hehe. I dont think i could eat this cuz of the bellpepper ={

    but it looks good =D

Is it possible to make these so they are just vegetable dumplings?

  • This recipe is so good thank you:)

  • is the vegetables in your dumplings only shepherd's purse and green onions?? i'm curious also where to get Shepherd's Purse at can you get it at an asian market?

  • hilarious music

  • Very impressive! You look like a pro in rolling that dough. Thank for sharing. I will try making it. :)

  • The way you work the dumpling skins is like magic.

  • Looks great can't wait to try it!

  • If you put the vegetable and green onions at first and then prepare the dumplings´ skin, the water of the vegetables will come out for the salt.

  • When rolling the dumpling skins, should the middle be thicker than the edges?

  • @firemobsquad

Try to keep the thickness consistent throughout the entire skin, but for baozi, the middle should be thicker than the edges.

  • @firemobsquad

    Thank you for watching !!

  • looks good!!

  • @athomas1124

    Thank you so much !!!
