Well I like lionel better because there models are all different they all have there own unique sounds and MTH they use the same sound's in there models I do have to say they have certain engines that I thing are pretty cool. So my answer is Lionel.

Thats the thing I like about lionel. The sound is way better quality all together and is unique to each engine. Thats one thing MTH will never be good at.
