did you trade in your xbox pro for an xbox slim yet? Its cooler and much quieter than pro. comes with 250gb hdd which is reduces loading times if you install ur games on it.. and space for xbox live arcade games. prevents noise and scratches as disc doesn't spin. and has built in wi-fi. only jasper and current valhalla chipsets are reliable.. ur safe with pro too if u have either of those.

No, mine rarely heats up and I never have to stop playing, although you will find that the lens are more sensitive and won't take very scratched up discs :P
