Remember seeing this on V.H.S back in the 80's, didn't realise it was scored by Brad Fiedel until i saw it on t,v last night. I liked the music back then, although he's probabley more well known for The Terminator, this made the film good. (My friend had a crush on Chris Sarandon too!!)

Well it seems that a remake of FRIGHT NIGHT is currently in the works. shooting for the film begins in July. Colin Farrell is playing Jerry Dandridge. From what the director has said is that the vampires will be more like the original but extremely more brutal and with lots of jaws and teeth no daywalking, halfblood nor twilight crap, but set in Las Vegas. The music played a huge role in the film and setting the mood for the film, if they keep to these things it can be possible, due in 2011

@jacksongurl79 Apparently the room was REALLY REALLY small, and done in two takes. Amanda's bosoms were duct-taped, and it took six hours to do his vampire makeup. It was the coolest thing I'd ever seen, that panel, I wish ALL FN fans had seen it!!

Well it seems that a remake of FRIGHT NIGHT is currently in the works. shooting for the film begins in July. Colin Farrell is playing Jerry Dandridge. From what the director has said is that the vampires will be more like the original but extremely more brutal and with lots of jaws and teeth no daywalking, halfblood nor twilight crap, but set in Las Vegas. The music played a huge role in the film and setting the mood for the film, if they keep to these things it can be possible, due in 2011

I'm not a big fan of vampire movies but this film was superb. For me, the most impressive scene was "Evil" Ed's transformation from wolf/werewolf into human. Anyway I liked many scenes in this movie. William Ragsdale, Amanda Bearse, Chris Sarandon and Stephen Geoffreys did a great job.

\i saw this in the summer of 1985 after passing the core at the U of C. I think I went with Juan Collon. It was the most impressive film I had seen. After we walked back through a park and had to fight our way through some homeboyz. That was Chicago back then. And that was how you saw a movie. You enjoyed it and went out and brawled.
