I guess everyone's hear the latest breakthrough as of a few days ago saying time travel may be possible at least at a subatomic level.
I wonder if something I've stumbled across could open new doors in scientific research. If you follow my link to see my first upload "Witness a Miracle" you'll see what I'm talking about. The first few moments after it comes into focus are key to watch, and it easier to see full screen. I swear this footage is genuine. p.s I'm not selling anything.
This amazing scene sums up Lost perfectly. A bunch of great theories and questions, but no answer. Miles is Carlton Cuse, Hurley is Damon Lindleoff, and Jack who is in the background not caring is JJ Abrams.
LoL, I was like OMG HURLEY, can't you comprehend it its so simple, the question at the end was the only real one that made sense, but its obvious richard did something to Ben as a kid to make him forget as it showed later
@wiechu147 that is true, however that was just a cheap patch from the writers. because back in season 2 they didn't know this was gonna happen in season 5. They didn't even know there was gonna be a season 5.
If you have long stories like this it just happens... Most of those examples you don't even notice, because they are written cleverly.
But obviously the ending, which didn't resolve anything, is a clear example of not knowing what to do with all the loose ends.
@Ishidasouken The show answered everything. To quot an "unanswered question" on that page, "If Cindy was with Charlie when the plane crashed, how did she end up with the Tailies?" Enough said.
Momments like this makes this show The Greatest Show EVER!....after the Simpsons..I dont care how many people hated the finale, one episode isnt going to ruin 6 years of great story telling and awesome characters. im still confused w/ conversation though....NAMASTE!
you could see that Jack, the doctor, already got the principle of time travel while Kate didn't (guess they didn't study time travel in Sunday school)
@101FallingRock Sayid shot Ben to change the future. Then when Ben got healed at the temple, the sideffect of that is he supposedly forgot some things (ex. Sayid shooting him).
@cruman87 the ironic thing is that it's Sayid's fault that Ben became who he became...Sayid shot Ben in order to change the future and prevent Ben in become the leader of the others, however, in doing so he inderectly sent young Ben to the others since Jack refused to help the kid, which led to Kate bringing him to the Others = you can't change the past or the future, 'cause whatever you do in the past happened, so the future will still be as it always has been
Kate and Sawyer brought little ben to the others temple to be healed but they said that ben wouldn't be the same again and also that he wouldn't remember anything"
I'm pretty sure Ben remembered, he was just too much of a secretive manipulative bastard to tell Sayid. In fact, Ben remembered; he "tortured" Sayid by making him kill some of Widmore's associates.
@BTVagrant Ben did NOT remember; Richard said he wouldn't remember after the Others fixed Ben. That's why Ben doesn't remember. Kind of a cheap device plot-wise, but it works. It's not important enough for the writers to have come up with something more creative, I suppose. Ben made Sayid do those things to Widmore's associates because Ben thought those things needed doing and knew Sayid could take care of it.
This should be the two hour finale. The whole plot and stuff should end on the 2nd to last episode and have the two hour finale be Miles and Hurley filling in all the gaps and explaining (discussing) everything.
Best conversation ever! I love how Miles is like the voice of reason in this whole show. And you know the really funny part? I don't think they're acting. I think these actors just started debating the shows plot holes between takes and the producer just decided to throw it in. Glad he did though, this is effing hilarious!
I think this scene is the answer to season 5. They can't erase the experiences that they had on the island, because they already happened and they are set in stone.
i think that when the bomb explodes they will all end up on the beach with richard and the others.
jacob says "they're coming" before he dies, i think that he might have meant everyone from 1977, in addition to/in place of the people on the beach.
I love this scene, Hurley and Miles are so funny together! Haha I think Miles must have actually listened to Daniel. And I agree with #2 on User0383 theory, though it wouldn't explain everything.
This is how awesome the writers are. When Sayid shot Young Ben in the episode before alot of people where wondering what would happened. Hurley's question at the end is pretty much what everyone was saying.
HURLEY!

Miles:I don't know
