In LDD the second you pick parts from Mindstorms a warning message state getting a price and option to buy becomes disabled. The only option you have is to dress a part list needed for your creation and ordering the parts from bricklink... nothing more i can do sorry !!

I was never able , not in Wine either... very upsetting there is not an NXT-G for LINUX that would make great cheap solution for computers in school using NXT!

Wow, this looks a heck of a lot better than MLCAD. I didn't even know I had this option.

except under the Mindstorms TAB we get a lot but not ALL the needed bricks - for example no rack gears, no large technick tracks and no 3rd party sensors -- with MLCAD many people add parts making it much more complete -- hope to see more 3d elements from LEGO soon !

First make sure you are using LDD version 2.0

Then if you want to see/use Technic and NXT parts YOU MUST select the Mindstorms TAB in the intro window.  (i suspect you are using the old version of LDD so go to lego dot com and download the latest and greatest version :-)

Great demo!! I didn't realize that they had Lego LDD with NXT stuff!!! I have used the first distribution on LDD to do my CHRISTMAS MICRO TRAIN. I have all the MINDSTORM sets and NXT sets and most of the EXTRAS that were offered for MINDSTORMS.  I also have about 15 BOOKS for both systems. I haven't put any on VIDEO yet but plan on doing it real soon for my Bills' Creations.. Great stuff you are doing and I am going to soon get into it in a BIG way and soon.... Bill

Thanks Bill, I was wondering if you had NXT or Mindstorm, no surprise tho! i have many book on the subject myself - there is a great community out there to get idea,s and help from. The only thing I'm missing is time!! All this LegoIi buy I say it's for my retirement, I guess you beet me to it LOL.
