Since I'd listened to it the first time, I've heard a psychiatrist say during the trial of a man who killed his wife that this husband demonstrated a trait that sociopaths have, that is, referring to himself in the third person. THAT is what Hobbs did several times during his conversation with Byers. In fact, he said "Terry and Mark". WTF? He was talking to Mark. Normally one would say "me and you". Something to think about.

If you only need permission from one party, the party that makes the call qualifies and can record without the other knowing. terry hobbs hair can be blown off as transfer, but jacobys hair cannot. terry hobbs went to the police interview just to see what they had on him or didn't have on him. how does he have so much more information than byers? maybe there is a piece of evidence floating around that mr hobbs is afraid will be found. terry has beat on all of his wives and shot his brother in law, but we are scum bags for wanting to know the real truth.
The fact that he is looking forward to Damien getting the lethal injection and getting killed for something he obviously didn't do is pure evil. After studying this case, I believe Hobbs was involved, along with his friend David Jacoby.
I believe Byers is probably working with someone trying to set up Hobbs. However there is the possibility that is not the case. I believe Hobbs is 100% guilty and I don't feel very strongly about Byers being guilty, maybe 20%. The only reason I think Byers may have had anything to do with it is the fact that he is exceptionally smart for a southerner and may actually be fooling both parties. The three men are completely innocent though.

I believe Byers is probably working with someone trying to set up Hobbs. However there is the possibility that is not the case. I believe Hobbs is 100% guilty and I don't feel very strongly about Byers being guilty, maybe 20%.
