It is not possible to have a great dane chihuahua mix, physically...not right. This looks to be an average great dane puppy to me. You are trying to grab attention.....dont' put down either breed of dog, especially degrade REAL dane breeders. YOu don't purposely mix great danes with other dogs. They are not to be mixed....especially with a itty bitty chihauhua!!

Hey, believe it or not mixed breed dogs have less genetic problems than dogs that are pure breed. It's quite natural for a dog to want ot mate with other dogs. What's unatural are people that believe they have something to do with the dog's breeding. You are just a spectator that puts two like dogs together that doesn't make you specuial. Mixed dogs are great.

Unlikely, hybrid dogs have less genetic problems then their purebred strains, which suffer from genetic depression.

If this dog is already born and seems normal, it should lead quite a normal life.

@CrazyCritters7 A person who really loved dogs wouldn't use such a derogatory word such as "mut". Its actually the pure bred dogs that die the most because of their genetic problems. Mixed dogs are actually healthier.

@ProphetGuardian I owned a mutt. She was my life until she gotten taken away at 2 years old when she was hit by a car. I love all dogs. I work with both pure and mix breeds. I hate the people who purposly breed mutts and people who breed any breed that doesn't know what they're doing and are producing more unhealthy, unwanted puppies. Sorry I don't support irresponsible breeders.

@CrazyCritters7 Actually cross breeding dogs doesn't doesn't produce diseases. A mix breed dogs are more genetically diverse and therefore they are less likely to get diseases that are mostly found in the pure bred breeds the dogs are mixed with. If you breed two dogs that commonly suffer from hip dyplasia the mixed breed has the same chance as pure bred dogs. If the one breed suffers from hip dyplasia and the other doesn't chances drop by 50%.

@CrazyCritters7 As for unwanted that speculation. There are a lot of pure breed dogs that are abandoned and unwanted as well. Most mixed breeds aren't purposely bred by humans but happen naturally. Your right a lot of breeders don't know what their doing and breed any dog with any dog not taking in mental stability issues the dog could face. On the other hand there are many pure breed AKC certified breeders who breed diseased and sickly dogs. So it goes both ways.
