Government should do nothing. At lest the Federal. If it's such a good idea, why am I not doing it? Answer... It really don't do a dang thing.

GOVERNMENTS should be the 1 who should start taking the 1st step to work out with all the manufacturers for solutions to have the waste properly recycled. No parties should just made MONEY and forget about the waste that they invented/created in the 1st place. Typical GOVERNMENTS always pushes all their waste to the poor at a very low cost, making them even poorer to do the jobs.

On my side, I ceate with used electric or electronic gizmos as computer parts and peripherals as console TV's, hard disks, printers and scanners. Actually, I build a record cutting lathe with a HP inkjet printer as lathe and an hard disk as cutter head!

Actually, its the stuff you think is going to be recycled which is sent abroad. The binned stuff just goes in domestic landfills

it depends on where you recycle your ewaste. if you check out the BAN website, they list responsible ewaste recyclers near you

the Laptop you coulda sold for parts on ebay. ( for $25 or more for your profit not bad)
but yes I relize e waste is bad,
if everything fails even reselling for parts ( i only pitch if i have to ) I send to recycle place in town :)
