@MrJonaske just having a hood i have a 33 gallon rimless acrylic aquarium and it is bestiful its more blenging w/o a hood and you dont have to deal with that rim. its very convienent to now have a rimm in my opinion.
Wow... This is just amazing, everything is so very nicely spaced out and placed. There must have been so much thought process in creating the aquascape, this is such a wonderful slice of the reef and it has certainly inspired me. good work with the video and keep it up.
Cool setup, but I have to say, I'm really impressed by the "cinematography"! One of the most professionally done youtube videos ever. About any subject.
How thick is your glass?? Is their such thing as starphire clear glass or is it just starphire??? I am buying a starphire tank 48x19.6x19.6 and its 12mm thick but the guy keeps saying starphire clear glass. I just want mine to be crystal clear. I want to make sure I buy it but I am buying the right thing, or else I might as well just stay with my 72gallon bowfront saltwater tank. Let me know. Thanks
i have a 40 breeder and im planning on replacing my 4 bulb T5 for a 6 bulb t5 fixture but it seems like you can get a good light spread with your light do you think i would get good light spread on a 40 breeder with that MH light thanks
beautiful tank!! love the editting too, and album leaf adds such a wonderful touch! how does the mp10 hold up against a 40g tank? i've been trying to find videos on youtube of the mp10 on something bigger than a 37g cube and so far yours is the biggest tank i've seen so far.. i'm trying to see if the mp10 can properly move a 46 gallon bowfront tank.
what is the thick of your glass?... and, do you have any rim in the bottom?
im wanna made a rimless tank, the dimension will be 24"x24"x18" the thick of the glass is 3/8" (9mm), it'll be safe? and do i have to put a rim in the bottom?
@AdrianThiessen Hey, I was just wondering how you keep the tank so algae free and the water so clear? Of course I know the basics on how to keep algae away but I just want other opinions.
@robotron5000 Probiotic Reef Keeping eg: Vodka and Bacteria Supplements. No Algae ever. Also if that sounds too complicated I also used ROWAphos which worked great as well.
@dasadler123 Bacteria consumes the ethanol the skimmer extracts the bacteria. You might want to read a bit more because this is the basic logic behind the whole process. If you haven't gotten it yet keep reading. Good luck.
Magnificent tank, lovely filming, White balance is spot on, I have trouble shooting under my ati sunpower, with the mix of blue and White, even using a d3 manual wb. And or flash... Can't wait to see more videos.
@iknowalvin all over mostly other people selling frags. There are a ton of good suppliers in the Greater Toronto Area who bring shipments almost weekly.
Wow... Just wow.. When I'm bored I look around on nano-reef at other peoples tanks. This by far is the coolest thing I've seen. I bet the camera you're using wasn't cheap though :p
beauty video, but the aquarium is the best!

Awesome system. It really pays off to have all the right equipment. Also to have a much larger surface area.
