@garfnielsen Fred put together the concert, and "discovered" StainD. The show ended early, and then Fred begged Aaron to come out and play this song. I think I saw an interview where Aaron talked about how he hadn't even played it for anyone yet, and had been working on it during the tour.
Also..these 2 are so different...aarons all modest and chill...freds all obnoxious and full of himself...lewis has talent...durst possesses none...but whatever..it is what it is..
I was there! 1:51 Fred hollered out "BILOXI!" Mississippi Coast Coliseum baby!!! That is still my all time favorite concert to this day! Seen Aaron many times since too.
He finsihed the song on the spot. All he had was the chord progression and the chorus. Right from his heart. People can connect with amazing music like this.
I am sure I am going to raise hell for this but.... I dont think fred durst TOTALLY deserved the bad rep he got. Although his side comments during this great song did not help his situation one bit
@surreal5335 fred durst is a cool guy and limp bizkit used to be a really sik band, the way everyone turned on him was messed up, limp bizkit made sum really great songs
fred dirst is a douche and the feeling those lighters bit was unneeded but he didn't spoil it cuz his harmonizing on the chorus made it sound better than it otherwise would be
why is fred dush is even there

@xdeviltrunksx from what i understand is he knew the lyrics for the chorus but he kinda went off the top of his head for the rest of it
rickybarningham 3 months ago 2
@xdeviltrunksx Besides the chorus, Aaron made all the other lyrics up on the spot.

@xdeviltrunksx Fred Durst didn't put family values tour together.
