Stallone gave up everything that was unique about himself (and he started out as one of the freshest, most unique actors on the screen) in order to try and fit the mold of a standard action hero during the 80s. It's a shame and it ultimately ruined his career and left us with a body of work which is mostly forgettable, like this film for example.
