  • Hold onto the blasts, it's boring to hear 2 seconds of blasts and then some crappy filly moments over and over.

  • He's fast because of direct drive pedals, triggers, and practice that's the only way to be fast.

  • @TheSackdragger triggers and pedals dont make you play fast... your limbs do...

  • WOOOW ur good.

  • afford shoes

  • ZOMG! That Bass Drum and That Ride Sounds LIKE SEX!!

  • so freaking fast

  • Goddammit why are you so fast?

  • Derek?

  • @pharcydebug it lookt like

  • what kind of trigger module do you using ??

  • nice i wish i could play that fast that easy

  • are those yamaha dragon pedals?

  • epic dude, really awesome! Stay Metal \m/

  • 1:07 "and remember, wrists soft, not like this"

  • Buy a real Bass Drum

  • \\m// (>_<) \\m//

  • dude, is this on a tape fed home camera? cuz if so plz tell me how to covert it cuz i have a vid that i wanna upload but cant cuz its tape.....ur drummin was dope btw

  • hey dude !!! your bass is the yamaha pad ?

  • @Bostafito good eyes! it seems to be one

  • Everyone complaining about an electronic kick should just realize that the kick is this loudest part in an apartment building, so he is keeping the noise down a lil bit. I do exactly the same thing when I need to. I just wish I was spoiled like all these American kids that get to play a kit in their bedrooms with no one calling the cops!

  • @drowe77 I would probably have the cops called on if I did blasting =]

  • trigggggggggggggggerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:P

  • Nice

  • the only thing i dont like.. is you have electric bass.. and you dont have to hit as hard for it.. but other wise.. your hella good

  • @boobookitty2120 yeah, i know huh.

electric bass is so easy to go fast on.

  • your amazing..

  • im impressed by ur left hand man

nice and constant with the blast

should get on the acoustic bass drum though

    having electric is cheating

  • are u using a dualist???

  • @luanzdark no he is not

  • kick ass!

  • yea sick audio, love it!

  • joey jordison can suck death metal drummers cock!!!!

  • dude is your bass drum electronic? just wondering because it looks like it

  • you sir are one bad ass mother fucker!!!!!!!!!

  • you are good!!

  • Holy shit your double bass technique is crazy

  • so sick!!

  • mono, lol

  • does he use double bass? haha

  • not for me sorry you ugly smelly fuck

  • you play heel down? I can't keep that up for 5 minutes.. Or is the electronic part a big plus?

  • @SessionElite The trigger is deinitely helping him out. You would have been barely able to even hear his kicks at all on an actual bass drum. If he could play at that speed, with precision and power, id give him props.

  • @JuiceofVM The majority of extreme metal drummers use triggers on their kick drums.

  • @jayb613 even if using trigger, the technique "trigger tapping" is extremely frowned upon. The reason triggers are used is so you can actually hear the individual bass drum notes at high speeds. George Kollias and many others (including me) say if you cant make it sound good without triggers, your not even drumming.

  • @SriDys i guess i might be biased cause the only kit i have at the moment is electronic. my whole kit is triggers lol... it's all good though everyone is entitled to their own opinions and i don't think that most drummers out there can even hold a candle to george kollias

  • Check my vid out....Juice plays drums, nothin spectacular but its got some sick beats. \ ,,/, ,\,, /

  • That double bass is grazy

  • This guy would blatantly wipe the floor with forrest gump in a foot race! LMAO!! :-D

  • O_O!

  • u would be perfect to play vendetta by slipknot

  • i hate it wen ppl use jajaja!! its fuckin annoying

  • CHECK OUT MY DRUMMING tell me what u think

  • Awesome man

  • holy shit

  • OMFG this is so dumb. ZOMG DOUBLE KICKSSS. on an electric set all you have to do is touch it. you wouldnt get any sound if you touched the kick that soft. fuck electric. play that on an acoustic

  • nobody instrukts to play only electrical oder acoustik. He would get a cramp is his leg xD. I think if he wants to play with an electrical ha can

  • Well actually it looks like he's using force sensitive triggers. Both the DDRUM Red Shot (mounted on his toms and snare) and the Roland KD-8 (kick trigger) have a pretty damn good range of responses... There's a SLIGHT volume boost, but playing fast and weak, or 'tapping' the bass drum, will still sound pretty quiet on these triggers.

A lot of death metal drummers use triggers like these mainly just to get a cleaner bass drum sound... otherwise the guitars will drown you out at high tempos.

  • your drumming is too big for your kit

  • I think you need to work on your feet a little more :D. Awesome anyways!

  • fucking good man great job

  • jajaja omg!! jajaja te double bass kick it's fuckin' insane jajaja

  • wooooow fuckkk doble pedal!!!!

  • \m/ T-T \m/ .......

  • good :-))

  • slopy feet

  • the end rulz

  • LOL @ the end!

  • huashuas

  • hah lols the end tripped me out

  • Sweet!!!!!!!!!! \m/

  • nice ,nett

  • How fuck you do that ?

  • schnell, aber schrott.

  • das ist death metal^^ es ist schrott ^^

metal ist eig cool aber so gegrunze etc. ist scheiße...

es ist schrott aber wenn du das sagst ist klar dass dich alle rutner werten :D

  • Quick feet man, very tight. I like the mix between the electronics and acoustics. Great stuff.

  • Flat feets!! how is that possible?!

  • @majsehava

He's playing with triggers, so he doesnt need to hit the bass had at all, which is why he can play heel down...

  • Nice Blasterbating XD

  • Oh my god. Finally found a drum video without some slutbitch saying "J03y J0rdis0n is better than you n00b" I fucking hate those people. GGGRRRRRRRR!!!

  • THANK YOU!!!! that bitch is so overrated!!!

  • @tle123rox J03y J0rdis0n is better than this n00b even though i dont know who that is

  • @Showmaster162 dude this guy rapes joey jordison joey jordison sucks compared to most drummers

  • @tle123rox No in this video i say Alex Lopez is better than you :D

  • @tle123rox lmao joey jordisons not bad...just overrated. however this is fuckin awesome i wish i could play like this

  • @tle123rox funny thing they dont realize is that joey jordison isnt even close to the top 10 drummers ever

  • @tle123rox J03y J0rdis0n is better than you n00b ;)

  • @tle123rox And you just said it

  • @tle123rox Those people can´t do anything

  • @tle123rox especially since it says death metal drumming, and slipknot is CLEARLY not death metal. i rest my case. joey is good, but samus from abigail williams was the shit before he left.

  • the hell??

  • you are awesome man really!

  • damn !!!! he hit the double base so smooth...like he just dont care xD

  • Wtf?! He's not doing Heel up! O.o

  • the stutter at the end looked like he was wacking off if you look at it for like a second. lol

  • lmao

  • You never heard of triggers xNilexx58?

  • hahahahaha youd think a guy listening to nile would lol...

  • i liked what u were doing with ur hands but how lightly you were hitting the bass drum trigger you would barely be able to hear that on a real bass drum let alone a death metal concert

  • he wasnt hitting it as hard BECAUSE of the fact that it wasnt the drum. why exert ALL yur force on a v drum? thats just retarded

  • maybe he should put more behind it so he can develop some technique for when he plays on an acousitc kit?

  • sic bro...soooooooo sic

  • fucking sweet man keep it up really good job

  • Awsome dude just what im looking for for my metla band with my grunt and monster voice vocals

  • the shit :D

  • Awsome man! :D

  • I lolled at the end x'D

  • God dam man get down, they've got machine guns.

  • lol the end

  • He's feet is like, not even moving... lolz... very fast?!?!?!

  • COOL!

  • lemme guess, a jokeby kit right? i love those kits, prolly the closest thing to a real kit i ever saw that aint akkoustic

  • Why in the world would you trigger toms?

  • to make them sound better

  • can you explain to me wtf triggering is i looked them up and i didnt get far. I can see that the triggers are the red things on the lug of the toms. but what do they do?

  • they basically turn acoustic drums into electronic drums, after hitting certain speeds, acoustic drums sound muffled so basically triggers keep the sound consistant.

  • fair enough

  • different way to explain it is they are basically the equivalent to pedals for a guitar... you hook them up to a processor and you can choose what it sounds like, changes the sound entirely and yes it is mostly for speed and power because it gets very muffled 200+ bpm

  • Triggering is basically adding a little sensor to the drum that when set off by striking the drum, will play a sound through an amplifier. Triggers make drums sound louder and more consistent each strike.

  • its like a distortion pedal for your bass drum.

  • In this guys case, it must be becasue of sound restrictions, Notice the mesh heads?

  • well possibly but then they cymbals would destroy the purpose.

  • Sounds like a machine gun ;) Keep blastin', man!

  • guys fucking horrid

  • nice triggers

  • XD looks something in the way of Chris Adler

  • nice dude! just one question, were's your real bass drum?

  • LOOK AT HIS BASS DRUM

  • sick stuff dawg....heels down?...

  • nice work keep it up!

  • I taught myself (with very little help from the internet) over time. I can keep a steady beat going(not sure at what speed exactly but i can play mortal share by Insomnium), but as soons as i do anything that pushes my abilities i either: lose control (probably due to me using my right foot too much and not training my left), or my legs get tired really quickly (and im not unfit). Any help would be appreciated.

  • check out some of derek roddy's lessons..

they are geared towards endurance.. he shows some pretty intense workouts but they definately help endurance.

  • Has anyone got any advice on improving double bass drum technique, i've been playing the drums for 4 and a half years now, with being tutored for only the first year, i got a double bass drum pedal about 2 years ago as i got into bands like In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Insomnium, that kind of thing.

  • all triggers do is enhance your sound on the bass drum

  • you cant really say that a trigger doesnt sound good on anything but a bass drum, you can choose how you want the drum to sound if ur triggering it, so itll never sound bad, if ur playing it

  • lol your feet are naked :D

triggers + acoustic bass drum is real expensive, nice choice with the electric bass :)

  • why dont you go listen to stonesour somemore you idiot and yes i do drum i have 2 bass drums and 12 cymbols and you dont have a nice day BAKA =)

  • cymbals*

  • lol misspelled thx

  • Dude he cant use that double kick on a real drum so in my opinion he sucks

  • ur just fucking stupid....he does that to save money man theres not much difference. u wouldnt know cuz ur obviously not a drummer. ACOUSTIC bass drum plus the triggers and the drum machine and all that stuff costs more than just having the electric bass drum. it saves money and i dont believe that he uses that kit for live shows anyway so whats the point. i hate fuckers like u...

  • FUUUCK i meant to give you thumbs up and i missed.... sorry bro

  • dude you dont need triggers on an acoustic bass drum it just cleans the sound and makes it easier to hear so go fuck yourself stupid piece of shit!!!!!

  • still he should use real drums =) , if he mixes them he has no skill what so ever

  • Damn that's fast.

  • dude your dumb look at his bass drum

  • You need real drums no offense electric suck

  • he has real drums. i think his first tom is not real, he has a electric snare on top of his real snare, and then a not real bass drum. electrics suck dick though.

  • yo bro u suck cock at drums why dont u try something other than blasting and constant double bass...lawl ur on an electric ur talented

  • nICE

  • wow!

  • nicee but in my eyes your cheating

even i can hold a good double bass beat on electric drum bass it has more rebound

  • please dont make stupid generalisations like that. it may have just been that particular 'electric drum bass' that had 'more rebound'

you make it sound like anyone with an electric drum kit is cheating.

if you did any research at all you would know it is in fact much easier on a real kit as you get way more rebound from the skin. i find it alot harder on an electric kit.

and yeah,, like post a vid of you playing drums that fast kay? cool.

  • well its easier for me on electric bass

maybe your drums are tighter than mine?

i dunno i need to fuck around with my pedals im not sure if i want them tight or loose

i got my drums for christmas so im not that good but i can get pretty fast on the double bass i just need more endurance

  • i found it a lot easier to double kick on an electric kit aswell, as opposed to acoustic, but it doesn't make THAT much of a difference.

  • larzyyy doesnt know what hes talking about wtih that rebound bull. haha. but electric kits are still much easier to play on. you dont need to worry about hitting anything hard to produce the sound you want, so its much easier to play faster. same principle with triggering. tapping with triggers isnt cheating, but its certainly not admirable. i will admit, theyre fun as fuck to play around on though. haha. but past that, they take some of the art away from death metal drumming

  • The only real way i see electric as cheating really is the fact that Acoustic you need to maintain the power steady for the same sound, whereas with an electric, the triggers will recognize even the slightest tap. not that electric isn't just fun as fuck

  • last 2 second.... lol

  • It sounds good, though a little slow.

    Still awesome, though!

  • though a little slow??

    for fucks sake.

okay, so you can post a vid of you drumming faster?

  • No, I don't play drums.

  • exactly what i thought.

    pretty pathetic then.

who are you to tell him hes slow then?

you try it, on a kit, and see how hard it is.

  • It helps if you pay no mind to douches with usernames like "A7XRules4life". A7X? lol...

  • whoah man, dont diss a7x

theyr an amazingly talented band, just coz theyr not death metal dude dont diss em

  • They are overrated and really nothing special... and I enjoy some death metal but I'm not overly big on it.

  • 0:47-0:57 is my favourite part... i hear it all the day in my head XD

  • Dude... You pwn.

  • rotfl

  • что за отстой!!!

  • Сам ты отстой. Нормально чувак шпарит.

  • hes using an electric bass drum

  • your double pedals sound sick. the only thing sounded great actually. i'm sure you could go faster if you had lighter beaters too.

  • fuckin beast haha

  • Love the sound of your bass drum.

  • its a electronic trigger

  • fast so what

  • very bad

  • that was good but i didnt get the end

  • 1:06 looks crazy
