I think the muddy nature of the definition of god is part of the strategy. If something is loosely defined to a large enough extent it can be proven by anything.
I've seen this creep Dick Nutch at uni and he is a fucking wierdo. I spat in his food. Were going to get you. Your mind and soul for the taking. The war begins when the seed has been planted.
I am a pantheist, or believe in one creator, God. In my opinion there is no need to prove it. But many people want see evidence before believing. Some people, even if they saw evidence, still would not believe. So no matter what, it is purely choice. No different than choosing a favorite food or TV show, whatever makes a person feel the emotions needed to sustain life. There is nothing wrong with wanting to see the evidence. Still the choice is up to the beholder to believe, so just have faith.
your Christmas analogy is flawed. early Christians stole the Christmas holiday and traditions from the Greek cult of Mithra. the 25th, birthday of god, Sunday as a holy day, and baptism all come from them. the American incarnation has noting to do with any religion, it is a celebration of the winter solstices
I believe all religious people are completely ignorant of the creation of there religion. They are always ignorant of other religions. Knowing these things makes it impossible to follow any religion.
@scottrex33 I'm all for other people believing in other religions. I mean, sure I don't approve it, but I'm not gonna start a war on youtube. Videos like this just add to the hate. If we could just stop making these annoying videos, let everybody get on with their lives, then everything would be fine. I don't see what people are accomplishing from these videos or comment wars in the first place. What's gonna happen? You are gonna convert a whole religion? Good luck, buddy.
the time it took to make this commercial you can save tons on car insurance.
.....did we just blow your mind?

"Can anyone prove something that they can't define? " that's why I defend deism. They get attacked for not makeing claims but why should they?
