one of those things would drive me nuts after a while. i've watched several videos with different brands of these contraptions and i dont know how you distinguish entities from radio transmission.
i really need help with this; im just starting with evp and havent actually recorded anything yet. i dont have a ghost box or digital recorder; all i have is a tape recorder and a mini casette recorder. i wanted to know if this is good enough or do i need one of these?

those are fine, just make sure you always use a brand new tape, don't re-record on a used tape.
