I did some research yesterday and was pleased to hear that Danbert poured that bucket of ice over John Prescott and confused (even after I watched a video of one of his performances) to find out that this song is about a comedian called Lenny Bruce... can someone explain the connection?... I understand it has something to do with the comedian being convicted for obscenity.
What are you confused about? I'm a bit drunk but I'll do my best to help. I love this band, by the way; I spent a lot of my youth listening to them and watching them and feel like a raging anarchist every time I listen to them but, sadly, I'm too old to do anarchy anymore - wish I was though!
@Donkeyrb21 Your never too old mate. Maybe give the rioting a pass nowadays with your old bones, but you can still do a lot of construtive work for the community in the name of Anarchism. Its more important now than ever, with capitalisms economy in taters and more and more the corporations using governments for their own agendas.
Not the best version of the song, but Chumbawamba is fantastic.
