Wilson may not have a need Dawkins and Hitchens, but there's many people like me who appreciate their help articulating why religion is bullshit. Wilson sounds like a brilliant guy, but when he was criticizing Hitch and Dawkins, he sounds like an idiot who thinks every godless book should be written specifically for him and his benefit. He's probably just jealous his books aren't as successful.

Well that was nice...I like this guy. It's true that Dawkins doesn't think that group selection is an important evolutionary driver. And, if he did indeed say, it doesn't matter whether religion is harmful, it only matters if it is true, is rather silly. I think that the whole argument against religion is to prevent the divisive formation of in and out-groups and create one in-group where all of humanity and conscious creatures are included.
