Wow, this guy claims that the human has no soul or spirit? I guess he doesn't believe the Bible says on this topic.
If we are truly just meat down to the bone, (which is what the evolution/athiests believe), what part of man are we trying to save? The body will die and I guess that is just it. Isn't it the soul of man that we are trying to save when we preach the WORD. And save him from what? Save him from Hell. Isn't that what Christ came to do?

This is written from the beginning of the Bible, Adam became a living soul, the soul that sinneth it shall die, this view of the soul is the same as that of Luther and other reformers. The doctrine of us having a soul is taken from mystery religions and made popular by the Roman catholic church. If the soul was immortal, then God would not claim that He was the only immortal, nor would we be given immortality.

The next passages confirm the fact that, at the time of the second coming, a believer's body will be resurrected, conjoined with the departed soul, and glorified by the Lord: 1 Corinthians 15:50-53; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Revelation 6:9-11. He's God, it doesn't matter if our bodies are decayed, He said they'd rise up, so they will.
The reason SDAs adopted the teaching of "soul sleep" is due to the fact that the founding pillar of their belief is the "investigative judgment. This unique SDA doctrine teaches that on Oct. 22, 1844, Jesus began an investigative judgment in the heavenly sanctuary to see which believers could come to heaven, based upon their works. This flies in the face of the Christian gospel. Anyway, if Jesus hadn't figured out who was saved until beginning in 1844, the SDAs needed soul sleep.

The Holy Trinity already knows who is abiding in Christ. The judgment that is being carried out is for the satisfaction of the angels, so that they can see that God's judgment is fair. So they can see that the eternal death that awaits those who do not accept the gift of eternal life is the only just course of action.

I do not agree. I was raised int he SDA church. We were taught that we, ourself, is a living soul. As in the book of Genesis, God breathed into Adam's nostrils and man became a living soul.
