  • Mein Furer

  • Thankyouu. This was very easy and now I can count to 10 in german! wohoo

  • With regards to the number six, when we did german in school the teacher tried to combine numbers with letters, and one of the combinations was G, 6. It basically sounds like Gay sex. Was funny at the time.

  • Welcher Deutsche hier, muss auch lachen wenn er Anleitungen sieht wo irgendwelchen die Deutsche Sprache beigebracht bekommt ?

  • eins, zwei, drei, vier, fünf, sechs, sieben, acht, neun, zehn, elf, zwölf, dreizehn, vierzeh, fünfzehn, sechszehn, siebzehn, achtzehn, neunzehn und so weiter ..

Iam from Germany and when i see German tutorials i must start to laugh xD

  • Teacher would u marry me??? :-)

  • Vielen Dank

  • Danke!

  • I learned how to count to 10 in German from the band Oomph! But i really do wish to learn more!! I love German. That's why im going to take class's in school next year :)

  • Lol the Ss sound like Zs and the Zs sound like Ss :D

  • um when you said nine you sounded English

  • The first two are the hardest!

  • @wavepsychic For Germans they are easy^^

  • @Chrisi575 Yeah for Germans!

  • Kraftwerk - Nummern taught me some of them, now I can pronounce them properly, thank you!!

  • Hopefully it'll be easy to learn by myself since im fluent in english and croatian, especially since most european languages are similar or have a few similarities with sound pronounciation.

  • Augen Auf taught me some numbers! ^^

  • Wah... Was werden wir auf dem Bett zu tun?

    FÜNF.

  • im only here because i want to listen to rammstein without subtitles and i bet alot of other people are here for that aswell :)

  • Rammstein- Sonne :D

  • I can say numbers above 10!!!!

  • i know that

  • I'm having trouble with 5 O.o

  • My school only has Spanish and French to choose from to take and I chose spanish cause it looked easier. I wish they had german at my school! even though it seems really hard.

  • @Angelnot95 Oh trust me, German really isn't that hard. I was in your position too when I was your age. Now I'm trilingual!

  • @goldAUsilverAG awesome!

  • @Angelnot95 it is hard, believe me D;

  • 6 is sex. sex,

  • Translated into english pronounciation it might be:

    ayntz- tswhy - dry - fear - f?nf - sex - see ben - aw?t - noyn - Tsayhn

    it's impossible to describe a "ch" - noise, A mix of yawning&coughing.

  • Pause and Play, pres the buttons from 1-9, spam the 1 button xD

  • one= einz ( in German ai and ei both pronounce like ai)

    two = awei(the same )

three= drai (will remain same )

so in the same way i just show u some of the words how they pronounce

    V=F(vier)

    ie= ii (sieben)

    eu=oi(neun)

Zehn(in this word the letter 'h' will remain silent coz it is chasing by a Vowel ...

    GOOD LUCK FOR GERMAN

  • :D we made jokes about '6' in elementary school ;) but attention.. sechs and sex.. its not the same pronouncing :) the 's' in 'sechs' is spoken like the 'z' in 'zoo' (engl.).. in 'sex' it sounds like the 's' in 'sword' for exemple..^^ pronouncing is important, but the context decides what is meant^^

  • This is handy for school:D

    We have german lessons:P

  • thanks! im using this as german 1 prep when school starts back

  • ich hiesse Lorent! ich wohne in Schweden! ich bin drietzen yare alt. xD

  • @MrMegadeth12345 same here! but im fucked after 9

  • Ich kann mir das Video so oft anschauen, wie ich will ich werd ja doch nie lernen bis zehn zu zählen. Ich kann ja auch generell kein deutsch.

  • Rammstein taught me my 1,2,3's. I FEEL SO ACCOMPLISHED.

  • @RetroZombieee same here xD

  • 1,2.3.4,... the easy way to counting in german!

  • why 9 is neun??? Isn't "nein"?

  • @priki7 Nein is No :D

    9 is Neun and

    Nein means no :)

  • ein volk, ein riech, ein fuher

  • @sdivine11 ...

  • @sdivine11 It's "Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer", but nowadays there are more nazis in other countries, so don't become a racist

  • @FelkCraft i meant it to go with the other thing i wrote im not a racist i just forgot to put that sorry if it offended you

  • @sdivine11 it doesnt offend me, but there are still some people with prejudices ._. you are not one of them I hope :D

  • @FelkCraft nope not that i know of

  • you only have to say ein not eins

  • @sdivine11 Not in that context. "number one" -> "Nummer Eins", but: "one person" -> "eine Person", "one animal" -> "ein Tier", German hast just a lot of different forms of words (ein, eins, eine, einer, eines, einem, einen, its all the same word). Oh god I just realized how hard German must be to learn :D

  • Every time i say them, they come out french accent >>

  • Gut'n Morgen everyone xD

  • ¿como se puede traducir los videos en Español?

  • @aankika A bit more difficult to memorize. Eleven - Elf Twelve - Zwölf Thirteen - Dreizehn Fourteen - Vierzehn Fifteen - Fünfzehn Sixteen - Sechzehn Seventeen - Siebzehn Eighteen - Achtzehn Nineteen - Neunzehn And from 20 to 99 you just put the numbers from 1-9 in combination with an "und" ("and" in English) before these numbers: 20 - Zwanzig (e.g. Zweiundzwanzig, Dreiundzwanzig, but EINundzwanzig) 30 - Dreißig 40 - Vierzig 50 - Fünfzig 60 - Sechzig 70 - Siebzig 80 - Achtzig 90 - Neunzig
  • this video is really good and has the correct pronunciation

if you want to learn german completely then click this link

  • I watch it drei times and I learn gut. vielen danke(thank you)

  • lol I actually kind of knew how to count in german by rammstein's song Sonne but I kept forgetting how to count so I just came here. xp

You can use the word "cool" with the meaning of "awesome!" in German also. It's an anglicism. If you say "Das ist kühl!" in German, people won't understand what you want to say.

  • Was ist denn so toll daran, wenn man von eins bis 10 zählen kann ?! :DD

  • i think nearly everybody here wants to unterstand what bands are singing xD I'm from austria and just can say: she's got a beautiful pronunciation!

  • I HAVE GERMAN IN SCHOOL :D

  • Comment removed

  • @27Bianca I love you.

  • I think you are great for posting this... but I do think it's ironic that you pronounced "pronunciation" , "porenciation" 0:15 - 0:17 ... although this video is fantastic; I had to point that out :D

  • I'm just here because of Rammstein...lol

  • Hi,

I'm a german who wants to improve his english. If any native english speaker wants to write / chat with me in english / german, don't hesitate and just let me know.

  • lol sex

  • Best way for me to remember 1 is say Heinz without the H

  • Funf has more of a "v" sound. Not "f." You mispronounced a few others too.

  • @EmalieT

    She pronounced it very well.

  • @EmalieT She mispronounced not one word. How do I know that? Because I'm german. And you don't know shit about the language.

  • so after fünf you have zex?

  • rammstein taught me how to count.

  • Oh so thats german on lady gaga's video for telephone

  • her german is terrible!

  • i wrote it all down and im practicing

  • german is a really hard language :D but therefor i speak it perfect :D live there! :DD

  • I forget all about german after lesson ends. =.=

  • So you can speak German?

Where did you learn to speak German?

  • @Kinghercules She sounds like she has a natural German accent, although I'm not particularly sure. I've heard a bit of differentiation in accents between German and Swiss, although the language, I believe, is the same.

Maybe she was born in a Germanic country, is what I'm getting at.

  • @RespectMyCountry

    A bit of differentiation :D

Yes, the language is the same ...intrinsically... But it's very hard for many Germans to understand real "Schweizerdeutsch" (german for "swiss german")... They have a really hard accent. But it sounds funny :D

  • Du kannst wirklich gut Deutsch sprechen:)....You can really speak good german

  • Tokio Hotel!!!!

  • im surprised that none of us ignorant americans arnt hitting on her >.>

  • i like 8 it sounds it/s like act that/s how i remember it

  • eins zwei drei vier fünf sechs sieben acht neun zehn elf zwölf dreizehn vierzehn fünfzehn sechzehn siebzehn

  • Wow,german is such a beautiful language.I have always wanted to learn it.

  • @ilovegermanyballack Umm... beautiful seriously??? it sounds like things bumping into each other!! it's very geometric! What about it is beautiful, I'm learning German, but beautiful really!! I think Spanish, specifically Castilian, is the most beautiful language to listen to, but German?? Let's not get too carried away!! Listen to a Spaniard speak and then get back to me. I also speak French and it's also not pretty to the ear at all!!

  • @plutogirllovekj well,I wouldn't comment here if I hadn't enough knowledge about languages.I can speak perfectly spanish portugese italian english french so i think i'm able to judge well about german and yes I think it sounds beautiful,it's my opinion.
