Im a support manager at my walmart. The unloaders set up, unload the truck, pull pallets, push carts, clean then go and help down stack. The ics bin overstocked carts all day work on exceptions and do picks. Our backroom is a mess with all these new ZMs.
Wow wish I could do that. At lest youre having fun in the video. At my walmart all we do is unload trucks and get screamed at cuz a 4 thousand piece tuck isnt done in 10 minutes :(

wow sounds like we worked at the same Wal-Mart...I work my ass of every day im there...ICS Unloader....4-1 shift....One thing i hate doing most is someone elses job...the overnight grocery stockers, we have to downstack their grocery pallets...while pulling freight to the floor...we do everything...set up for the truck..unload it carry everything to the floor downstack grocery pallets, make pick lists...work the pick lists....i make 7.80/hr for about an 10/hr job. BULLSHIT

We got a wrong truck one day. 3rd shift. Unloaded the truck and took everything on the floor and we were downstacking 'em. And we were like, "What the fuck? New mod? No home? What the fuck!" The assistant manager running in the backroom, "It's a wrong truck!" The truck was supposed to go to the super center. LMAO for a day. Next day: 2 trucks, double work. Lots of overstock and binning (';') Whos fault is that?!
If I knew I would have an explanation as of how that happened. The management gets high off of something haha! "I'll have some of what ever they're smoking!"
assistant managers- some do not know what the fuck is going on most of the time. they are too busy walking around counting their fingers, or making sure they dont get dirty...most of them, suck balls...so much for "lead by example"

While I agree there are far fewer good assistants than poor ones, you definately do not get into the mix yourself. I work at Kmart in Duluth, Minnesota. A while back a truck driver drove a shipment of fresh plants from Texas to our store, instead of to Duluth, Georgia. I have no idea how he could have been that far off. I'm sure his boss wasn't to happy, when a truck going to Georgia ended up in Northern Minnesota.

oh yeah i know what you mean the store manager has been on the IMS team about binning and the pick list since inventory is right around the corner as for the pick list i still dont know why the hell the even came up with that idea my store was one of the 1st stores to work the bug's out of it and the system still aint working right the store manager get's very irate at the IMS team over pick that would not go out

Then we're rebinning it. Tell me, 200 picks in one department overnight is normal??!! I don't think so! We get over 300 picks a night. Not fair!
yeah the pet's department always get hit the hardest at my store and on top of that they usually have about 20 or more skids and then the store mgr will stand there and call you a liar right to your face when you tell her half the pick's wont go and i agree the system is stupid they are trying to make a pick in dairy and frozen even though it failed 3 times already but that's home office's great intellect for you
Yeah that new program isn't going to last very long I can see a lot of mistakes in it, and a lot of people don't change the quanity of the product in the box, when you write quanity of the product for 3 boxes, like 6, 12, 18, people think it's 18 in one box so if the system asking for 18 they'll take one box. And they don't know how to bin! If they have 3 boxes to bin they'll scan it, put "6" in quanity and throw the rest of them in there.
Now the overnight manager wants us to separate break packs and put all the same products in the same box. The overstock comes all mixed! It will take an hour for each overstock to get organized, and then binned. He also wants us to straighten out the bins while we're at it. It's too much to ask if you ask me if it's too much t ask.
This HBA lady was like, "Can you bin my overstock, I only have a little", then she brings out this whole pallet/skid that's taller than I am! So I'm like, "How about you shove that up your ass and BAM! Overstock is gone!"
oh i knew it was going to fail soon as they droped it on us i had a yelling match with the store manager this morning stupid bitch i had a whole pick boat of cereal last night and none of it would cause cause the new freight had already been stocked and she swore up and down i was wrong that she has looked at it and it would go and i was just lazy and didnt want to put it out she pissed me off and i told her seem's pretty god damn funny that it was stuffed an hr ago and now it's empty how odd

Im a support manager at my walmart. The unloaders set up, unload the truck, pull pallets, push carts, clean then go and help down stack. The ics bin overstocked carts all day work on exceptions and do picks. Our backroom is a mess with all these new ZMs.

@CourtneysAuntSara This is definitely a Walmart, because the style of the bins/racks matches the style used in Walmart stores, and because at 0:19 a Walmart Return for Credit box is plainly visible. It doesn't seem like a really brilliant idea to video-tape yourself violating policy and post it globally, but to each his own. I have a hard time imagining associates getting away with this in my store.

Glad to see people having fun working at WalMart. All I did in ICS was work my ass off way passed my shift, get bitched at by management for not reading their crazy mood swinging minds and made to stay late, then bitched at more by having to leave early to avoid overtime... or for making overtime after being told not to leave early. I'm glad to be out of that retarded place! Even the military with all it's logic defying ambiguities was better than working at WalMart!

wow sounds like we worked at the same Wal-Mart...I work my ass of every day im there...ICS Unloader....4-1 shift....One thing i hate doing most is someone elses job...the overnight grocery stockers, we have to downstack their grocery pallets...while pulling freight to the floor...we do everything...set up for the truck..unload it carry everything to the floor downstack grocery pallets, make pick lists...work the pick lists....i make 7.80/hr for about an 10/hr job. BULLSHIT

We got a wrong truck one day. 3rd shift. Unloaded the truck and took everything on the floor and we were downstacking 'em. And we were like, "What the fuck? New mod? No home? What the fuck!" The assistant manager running in the backroom, "It's a wrong truck!" The truck was supposed to go to the super center. LMAO for a day. Next day: 2 trucks, double work. Lots of overstock and binning (';') Whos fault is that?!

assistant managers- some do not know what the fuck is going on most of the time. they are too busy walking around counting their fingers, or making sure they dont get dirty...most of them, suck balls...so much for "lead by example"

While I agree there are far fewer good assistants than poor ones, you definately do not get into the mix yourself. If I have to help you do picks, unload, cashier, zone, bin, sweep, etc, what exactly do I need you for?

I work at Kmart in Duluth, Minnesota. A while back a truck driver drove a shipment of fresh plants from Texas to our store, instead of to Duluth, Georgia. I have no idea how he could have been that far off. I'm sure his boss wasn't to happy, when a truck going to Georgia ended up in Northern Minnesota.

The system sucks! I'm gonna walk around with a damn telxon for 4 hours, I can't even afford to take a break unless I wanna go out to lunch at 3 in the morning, just to find out that half the shit don't go out. Then we're rebinning it. Tell me, 200 picks in one department overnight is normal??!! I don't think so! We get over 300 picks a night. Not fair!

Yeah that new program isn't going to last very long I can see a lot of mistakes in it, and a lot of people don't change the quanity of the product in the box, when you write quanity of the product for 3 boxes, like 6, 12, 18, people think it's 18 in one box so if the system asking for 18 they'll take one box. And they don't know how to bin! If they have 3 boxes to bin they'll scan it, put "6" in quanity and throw the rest of them in there.

Now the overnight manager wants us to separate break packs and put all the same products in the same box. The overstock comes all mixed! It will take an hour for each overstock to get organized, and then binned. He also wants us to straighten out the bins while we're at it. It's too much to ask if you ask me if it's too much t ask.
