I'm trying to figure out how it's a test in technology when they have Buzz Lightyear at the attraction Space Ranger Spin talking with the same type of technology, at least I think so. It looks the same.

I think it was supposed to be a test to see how it would look for a Cars character.

If they really wanted to make it more like the movie, it would kind of bounce around as it talked.

I'm sure that the car characters will have some movement when the actual ride opens.

This was simply a test of the technology. :-)

Actually, he wasn't making any noise at all. It was a proof-of-concept presentation... Owen Wilson has not yet done any voice acting for the attractions of Cars Land... This is still a great advance in technology on the Walt Disney Company's part, nonetheless.
