@bomanio1 hey, I've been playing for seven years (I'm 16) and I've played every type paintball you can imagine. Woodsball to speedball. And I have not been shot there yet. If you run, then yeah. It'll get annoying. If you get into paintball heavily like I am, they sell specific paintball pants that you can order with extra padding. It'll help. And it helps when sliding.

@Leevancleff im guessing that from your comment that you play speedball? in that case getting tips from other is ultimately pointless as having your own skills/tactics will help you better and you become instantly familiar with them. if you still want tips just keep watching these expert village videos as they give the best toutorials and information. also never keep the same style of play. every now and then change your moves and shooting style as to mix them all together.

At the paintall place i got to we have assault (team deathmatch),Capture the flag (the flag is in the center) and my favorite counterstrike (basically if you havent played the game ther are two teams terroist and counter terroist and the terroist have a bomb and they have to try to plant it in a area for 2 minutes or so tamd if a siren goes off and they win and if your counter terroist you have to eliminate the terroist and yes the counter terroist can pick up the if they kill the man carying it

well it all depends how much money you have or are willing to invest in paintball. I personally for 60-70 bucks any marker is a good backup gun but I have a proto slg 09 and it is amazing. A few questions to ask yourself when buying a gun... Is it used, how much has it been used, how durable is it. I hope this helped
