This war from the 20th century was dramatic and brutal. My grandfather was a soldier in World War 2 when he was younger back then. He died when i was 12 years old.

I've learned everything about WW2 because my grandfather, Gerald Thomas Woods was in that war years ago. He had to struggle through that war but in the end, he defeated the enemies and brought peace back to America. When i was 12 years old, he died of old age and that was upsetting to me.

Although that was one of the reasons for dropping the bomb (as a sign to Russia) the main reason was to avoid a land invasion of Japan which would have involved island hopping, something which would have cost the lives of hundreds of thousands of American soldiers, Japanese soldiers, and Japanese civillians.
It is debatable whether the US should have dropped the bomb in the first place but those were the main reasons so generalising statements should be avoided when discussing this topic.
i wanted to do one of WWI originally but its nearly impossible to find footage otherwise i would. people said i should do it with just photos but its definitely not the same than videos
there was that technology and you can see lots of clips on documentaries from WWI battles and the homefronts. it's not crystal clear but footage definitely exists as well as color photographs (non-doctored).
using clips from movies just is not as authentic so until i can find original footage there will not be a WWI video. but feel free to help me search!!!

This was a very powerful video an excellent choice of music, and great powerful imagery.
Not that I'm one to speak but my only suggestion is that perhaps in the future you might want to have the images flow a little better with the music.
Fast pace action clips to go with the faster points of music and slower more smooth clips for the slow points. Just so it really adds that extra punch you know. But other than that this was amazing a beautiful piece of work!

There is a massive under ground water system we here in the US use in the great plans. Thats what we use to water our fields and thats running out so when that goes the worlds bread basket goes and hunnger sets in.

The huge oil fields in alaska which they found about a year ago is suspected to be the biggest ever found in the US and the newly sited off shore oil sites which we cant drill in because of the left. But we have many ways to take sea water and convert it into fresh water. They even have a way to do that and use it for power to. But you are correct.

im so glad that there was a form of camera back during ww2 otherwise all this info would be lost once the people that witnessed or fought during ww2 passed away. god bless them.(them refers to all who were against Hitler and that includes those Germans that betrayed him and those who wanted to but were to scared and the poor innocent civilians that lost their lives for no reason especially the jews in the concentration camp.

Though 72 million died in ww2 and is the bloodiest war the world has seen the civil war took more americans. I pray we never see a war on those scales again but i know its comming.

i surly hope so. the war going on the middle east givin enough time and if it continues on the way its going may escalate into the next world war ww3. i think itll be resolved by then but still.

Naw the middle east will play a major role in the next worl war dont get me wrong in fact it will be the focious of it. But I think the war will start in the east with north Korea, then China, then oil will be needed to fight so we will fight over the oil fields of the middle east.

Water no. Oil yes because we wadge war with Oil and he whom has the most oil has the advantage. They found a MASSIVE oil field in Isreal. and the US has many un tapped Oil fields. We only use forgin oil so that when they run out we have ours. We were thrust into ww2 because we stopped supplying Japan with oil which they needed.

well, it has been proven that at the rate fresh water is being used, developed countries are going to be running out, hence world war 3 will be about water because there wont be any suitable left for drinking. as for untapped US oil fields, they're untapped because it would cost way too much and use more resources than the oil itself is actually worth (aka theyre so far down theyre practically worthless)

I won't claim to be an expert on nukes but I do consider myself highly knowledgeable about the war and I doubt a bomb ever existed capable of blowing up the entire planet. Plans for nuclear bombs existed in Nazi Germany but surely not one for destroying the planet.

I've learned everything about WW2 because my grandfather, Gerald Thomas Woods was in that war years ago. He had to struggle through that war but in the end, he defeated the enemies and brought peace back to America. When i was 12 years old, he died of old age and that was upsetting to me.

I know a lot of the horrible secrets of war like when Commandos attacked the Telmark Research base in Norway to stop the Nazis making an Atomic Bomb (the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945)

Although that was one of the reasons for dropping the bomb (as a sign to Russia) the main reason was to avoid a land invasion of Japan which would have involved island hopping, something which would have cost the lives of hundreds of thousands of American soldiers, Japanese soldiers, and Japanese civillians.
It is debatable whether the US should have dropped the bomb in the first place but those were the main reasons so generalising statements should be avoided when discussing this topic.

Yes, there wasn't really that kind of technology during ww1. If there was, it was rare. But maybe you should look for clips from movies about ww1?

there was that technology and you can see lots of clips on documentaries from WWI battles and the homefronts. it's not crystal clear but footage definitely exists as well as color photographs (non-doctored).
using clips from movies just is not as authentic so until i can find original footage there will not be a WWI video. but feel free to help me search!!!

This was a very powerful video an excellent choice of music, and great powerful imagery.
Not that I'm one to speak but my only suggestion is that perhaps in the future you might want to have the images flow a little better with the music.
Fast pace action clips to go with the faster points of music and slower more smooth clips for the slow points. Just so it really adds that extra punch you know. But other than that this was amazing a beautiful piece of work!
