Sorry I don;t know what the costume would be called. The tunics that the men are wearing look very similar to the Tibetan 'chupa'. I only remember one dance being mentioned as specific to an occasion, and that was when the men were racing around with jugs of wine on their heads! Otherwise I only remember being told that the costumes and dances were from different parts of Ladakh, or were performed by different cultural groups. Sorry I can't help! :o(
What is the name of the dance performed here in this video.....The costume is just cool with nice bright color combinations....and whats the importance of this dance....as every occasion resembles some specification

Good question! Studies of ethnicity and culture show 'traditions' often aren't traditional at all, and are only recently created. What is aimed at tourists is often adapted & modified, - one theorist came up with the phrase 'cultural mummification' where something is preserved as traditional, just because it is presented & repeated for tourists. So while this performance may have roots in Ladakhi song and dance - and may even be traditional - I wouldn't count on it until I saw the evidence :o)
