  • Great vid and I just got my D3100 yesterday. One big question though...the "OK" button is very "flimsy" and just doesn't seem as stable and or "set" as the buttons on the far left of the camera. Is it just my camera or is it just the camera in general. If you could see for me on your D3100 it would be appreciated :)

  • Our full Nikon D3100 review, including high-res studio sample photos, is now available on PhotographyREVIEW. There's a link to the review in the video description above. Please write your own review on the site if you own the D3100! Your user reviews are an important part of the equation :-)

  • im pretty happy with my purchase!

  • @pierrechn22 You should be! Please visit PhotographyREVIEW and write a review for your D3100. We can use some more user reviews for the camera. Thanks :-)

  • I still have a Nikon D70, is it worth moving to this camera? (Will the photo quality improve enough to make the move.) I use "program" mode only, no manual settings.

  • @BoogieWithStew save up to the d7000. much better

  • @IRondestvedt Better, yes. But everyone doesn't need better. And for most photographers, the D3100 and a better lens will do more for their photography than a better camera. A more expensive camera is always the more attractive decision but it's usually not the *best* decision.

  • @PhotographyREVIEW good answer ! :)

  • @IRondestvedt Thanks. Glad you think so. I'm constantly having to give myself the same advice. And after using the D3100, I'm really impressed with what I can do with it. The image quality is excellent - especially considering the price :)

  • @BoogieWithStew I think it probably is. I believe we're three generations past the D70 now. You should visit PhotographyREVIEW and take a look at our D3100 studio sample photos to see the improvement. They'll be up later today.
