God is mercifull, He loved us even we being so dirty and bad, that is the point! My response to A is this; I have heard stories from people who survived Katrina, and the Haitian earthquake, that claim aid from God. Do I believe that some of these stories are actually dumb luck? Yeah, maybe. But they seemed to believe pretty surely that someone was looking out for them.

@lizazoon My response to argument B is this; please excuse that it is somewhat anecdotal. I've been in a church building when the roof was torn of by a storm. I've been in church van when the tires have blown. I've sat in the hospital as a man of God suffered a major stroke. True good has come out of all these situations. Sometimes it takes a long time to see, but God always keeps his promise to "Work all things out for the good of those who love him."
