The regular Beats Studios, that have the gloss finish, are easy as hell to break ._. , you can put them on and break them.

Would you say that having softouch makes them less prone to breaking while you put them on?

@xXGaaraShinobiXx Actually The studios do not break easily, the headphones you are thinking about would be the older solos those used to snap like nobodies business but the newer beats by dr. Dre solos do not have that issue any more. There were a few instances with the studios breaking but it was usually defect. They don't snap that easily believe me.

@freeze118 let me say this headphones are what you make of them and what you perceive them to be everyone hears sounds differently. If you like bass then the beats are definitely your headphones b/c they bring out that crisp bass if your looking to listen to classical, jazz, or rock I wouldn't neccesarily recommend the beats, however some ppl think sound amazing on anything and that's they're preference everyone is different so stop being ignorant with the beats being bad headphones comments.

@MizzyFromTheBurbs No you can not get different colored monster cords to match the beats, that would be sick though. The studios come with a black and a red cord and the solos and pros only come with red cords.

@jaxi6410 Hey The hinges were tight, but I wouldn't say colorware made them stronger just put them back together well so they wouldn't break on me. I got parts of the headphones with a soft touch and parts with the pearl coat so they glow in black light really nicely.
