  • Love the video

  • WOW I never know they did duets together!!

  • Anybody have a James Brown and Tina Turner video? That would be the ultimate pair for a performance.

  • Given how jealous Darlene's husband was over Marvin, it's probably a good thing he sang to Jean!

  • Tina: the female James Brown herself - slide (4:36-4:41) and scream (4:56)

  • MARVIN CLOSED IS EYES WHEN HE SING TO THE GIRL

  • i have to say it but tina and marvin as a couple would have been the shit. but to bad he was married to anna and tina to ike

  • @mjjcng8958 so true.

  • i love this song.. wow

  • @WonderWomanFan4life Whats the name of this song? tinas song.

  • @hovac1987 Tell him i'm not home. It's a cover.... it was also sang by Chuck Jackson.

  • I LOVE THAT§§

  • Reminds me of CHUCK JACKSON!

I liked everything Chuck did in the day, this was a good one by Chuck!

  • i love tina's music but i never knew she had performed with marvin gale. great to watch her old performances. thanx for posting :) xx

  • THIS is how you do a duet...they don't do em like this anymore!

  • On behalf of my mom and host of aunts....THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS...took em way back lol

  • I remember this performance. I remember because tina had on pants! Apart from the Hanes ad in the 90s i think this is the only time i ever saw tina in pants. Huge thanks for posting this....Tina still looks good.

  • Wow. Tina has always been gorgeous even now, but when she was a young lady she was top model gorgeous!!!!!!!!! And that voice?!! not human!

  • Tina took 'em to chuuuuch on this one! Tell the truth... Tina is the TRUTH!

  • That IS Tina no question about it!

  • That ain't Tina (Turner) Is it? Could she have been that young?

  • Am not that crazy about tina's music but what a great performer!

  • Tina got James Brown with it from 3:45 on.

  • LOVE IT!

  • They should've recorded a duet together i bet it would've been a hit but you all know that wouldn't have happened

  • omg!! tina blew it to the roof!!! i like her old ways better than her new ways..but thts my tina i still love her all the way....NUMBA 1 FAN ALL DAY SINCE 2000 SINCE I WAS 11...NOW IM 20..

  • What's the name of the first song Tina sings?

  • fun

  • never knew they even performed together....!!!

  • While Dionne, Diana, Aretha, etc were making hits on records, Tina stage presence outbeat all of them. And today her name ringer louder bells than all three of them! Funny how things play out LOL.

  • Wow Tina is a true performer! The funny thing is I dont even think she knew how good she was! A little lady with a man voice! She's one of the only women who can scream and sing at the same time in one note! "I said you wouldn't have to mumble"! (2.35)

  • I stayed home from a friend's revival to look at this on TV. No VCR, TIVO no nothing back then. I don't even think I had a color set. much much more fun though back then

  • Man...Marvin could really brinig the funk.

  • i loved it. too good!

  • Terrific Performance!!!

  • Wow Tina sure hates lying lol "tell the truth"

  • I love the days when singers actually used to SING. No Auto-tune shit!

  • imwith you on that. Its hard now to find someone to just sing.

  • just Fantastico!!!

  • The saddest thing was that they both "Came Back" just two years apart from each other Marvin in 1982, and Tina in 1984, and yet Tina is still performing and Marvin's been dead for 25 Years.

  • Tina is untouchable as a performer. I've never seen anyone come close to obtaining the onstage presence that she has. It's the dancing, the energy, the voice, and just that "something" that Tina brings that no one else can do. AMAZING!

  • Two legends together !!!!!

  • AWESOME!

  • Here you see Tina dancing and then you realize that Jagger ripped off all her moves.

  • @corkpopfrance Learn your HISTORY. There are a plethora of interviews in which they BOTH STATE that she TAUGHT HIM how to dance...

  • Comment removed

  • @corkpopfrance In her book she talks about when they toured together he would ask her and the Ikettes to teach him how to dance, and they thought it was great but funny cos he was this young skinny white guy trying these classic soul moves... :)

  • i love Tina, she has her own way of coming in songs, she starts out belting (1:14)lol...love it!!!

  • what does belting mean?

  • Belting/Belters is a word used back in the early days before "screamers" were used. It basically shouting, yelling, having a loud over the top voice, etc. Lol.

  • She was so the female James Brown!

  • damn Tina was getting down!

  • WOW! What a number that was! A very significant piece of historical documentation of two high caliber performers. GREAT!!

  • wow - i didnt realise Tina sang with others..wonder where Ike was lurking? Excellent clip..thanks. :)

  • I feel you...im like....I dont see ike tryna play a guitar to something he had nothing to do with...lol

  • i was joshin..duh :)

  • She...Is...The....Sh&&!

  • aye i love the way marvin looks when tina screams, he cant scream that loud lol

  • WoW! This is priceless! Loved it. Thanks for posting! Love, Brenda

  • love tina turner, she was a little fire cracker, still a great performer in her early days!

  • Say yeah yeah yeah! Say yeah yeah yeah, Oh baby baby! love this clip esp Marvin's stubborn kind of fellow!
