The next year host was picked at random amongst them, I think.
1957: good singing 1958: we had win with that but i thinks it's boring 1959: love it happy song 1960: when you know the story it's a bit annoying but still very good:D 1961: boring 1962: great song also the chorus is a bit annoying^^ 1963: good but not a fan of it 1964: AMAZING!!! 1965: GREAT 1966: AMAZING 1967: good i love the chorus 1968: the contrary I love verses but not the chorus

Isn't it a shame, that neither Austria or Spain has won since the 60s? Austria hasn't even come close to winning since then. Their best result in forever is Alf Poier's unexpected 6th place in 2003. They're not even participating in the ESC at the moment, and I almost understand them. Spain might have had a few 2nd-placers over the years. But after Anabel Conde came 2nd (even though she should have won) in 1995, they haven't done that great either. I wonder what the future will bring...
