  • 68' what a lyrics!

  • Amazing!

  • And WOW. Eurovision was really camp in the sixties.

  • Were there multiple winners in 1969?

  • @centainec Yup. There wasn't a tie-breaker rule at the time (becauseit hadn't been ties biefore, so they didn't even think about it) and since they didn't know what to do when four countries tied for first... proclaimed all them as winners.

The next year host was picked at random amongst them, I think.

  • This rules. I would so much rather hear people sing in their country's first language.

  • 1969: Spain: good but a bit annoying Netherlands: not bad untypical at least UK: Their best victory France: Great we deserved to win

  • 1957: good singing 1958: we had win with that but i thinks it's boring 1959: love it happy song 1960: when you know the story it's a bit annoying but still very good:D 1961: boring 1962: great song also the chorus is a bit annoying^^ 1963: good but not a fan of it 1964: AMAZING!!! 1965: GREAT 1966: AMAZING 1967: good i love the chorus 1968: the contrary I love verses but not the chorus
  • 1956: the worst winner XD

  • why don't they do these stuff anymore!!

    did they just stop trying!!???

  • nice video. cool

  • 1967 to 1968 "the great revolution" you can now see the eurovision in COLOUR woow

  • Boom Bang a Bang should have won in '69 by a country mile.

I heard on the radio the other night that lulu had to share a four way tie with just 18 points each.

    Bizarre.

  • Wha

  • yep

  • See you in the seventies :)

  • love it !

  • Great!! Excellent picture and sound quality, all original performances - not comparable with other old Eurovision contest tracks! First color transmission in 1968 and the four winners in 1969, I am excited about this short movie! Thanks!

  • 1967 the best one and the best looking

  • 1965,1967 is the best!!!

    love the song- from isreal

  • 1963 DANSEVISE !

  • Great compilation on all 3 uploads. I think you should correct 1968 winner to Cliff Richard as I think it's a well documented fact that Spain's Franco rigged the voting for this competition - Congratulations!

  • Excellent compilliation wonderfully well made - thanks for posting!

  • pisherfamily would not have written that comment that France has the gall legenda. He pobjedu. You would vote for, but few could think

  • Out Of These 1964 And UK 1969 Are My Favs

  • 1967 is the most memorable but I like 1964 and 1965's as well....

  • It must have ben hard finding all of these clips :S

  • I love Net als toen (Netherlands 1957), Non ho l'età (Italy 1964), Poupée de cire, poupée de son (Luxembourg 1965), La La La (Spain 1968) and Un jour, un enfant (Frane 1969).

The best song of my favourites is La La La by Massiel for Spain 1968!

  • The best is France Gall.KOliptus is legend

  • @jumanji0706 uh, legend for having no voice and yet still winning?

  • Lenny Kuhr is the best of all these winners. Her beauty, the strong and beautiful music, melody and the wonderful words of the Troubadour makes her and her song the very best entry of the years 1956-1969. Frida Boccara is a good second. Apart from that, all the winners are good, but were not all the best entry of the Eurovision Songcontest of there winning year. In this way in 1967 Vicky Leandros was with

L' amour est bleu better than Sandie Shaw with Puppet on a string.

  • 5:15

    Frida Boccara kick all butts.

  • Há aqui boas canções, belas melodias que sabe sempre bem recordar. Elejo como as 5 melhores:

    France (Isabelle Aubret): 12

    Italy: 10

    Spain (Massiel): 8

    Austria: 7

    Luxembourg (France Gall): 6

  • Really enjoyed this and the others -- very nicely put together! Thanks for your effort!

  • how can u nt like 63s luxembourg + 69s spain, u.k + netherlands?

  • 1964..the best....

  • Damn... pop music was way better in the 50s (if you can consider it being pop... perhaps an ancestor of pop). These days it''s just a shame that pop even is allowed to exist

  • Isn't it a shame, that neither Austria or Spain has won since the 60s? Austria hasn't even come close to winning since then. Their best result in forever is Alf Poier's unexpected 6th place in 2003. They're not even participating in the ESC at the moment, and I almost understand them. Spain might have had a few 2nd-placers over the years. But after Anabel Conde came 2nd (even though she should have won) in 1995, they haven't done that great either. I wonder what the future will bring...

  • At those days they done the effort.

  • A very well made video with great music :)

    Well done!

  • Superbe car ce sont vraiment les images du grand prix!!!

  • WTF happened to the world why wont they do song like these anymore :(

  • @GdR696 You must be kidding. Time marches on, mon cher, and, if you didn't notice, these songs mostly ignored the rock revolution while keeping to its uptight world. I mean, these days, how many 16-year olds could sing "Non ho l'eta'" with a str8 face?

  • @pisherfamily I see what you mean, but still, when I hear 16-year olds singing Keshas songs my ears want to puke, not because of their singing but cos of the lyrics

  • @GdR696 I think it's greed. It will cost too much money for true music to happen. So now we have pure crap like kanye west, bieber

  • great video, especially the crossfade effects !
