Since he asked her if she used her pen or his, I'm going to assume that some part of her instructions required her to either write the chosen word or to circle it (though in his setup he never mentions a use for a pen he just says to "remember" the word.) Quantum gravity was used to try to explain how the universe came into being from nothing. Then there's the many worlds hypothesis in order to explain the Fine Tuning of the Universe - That in itself challenges the question of God, the divine creator.
Now, the real question here is "What is Nothing?". Nothing to me is Non-Being.. You cannot say that it is only due to certain quantum gravitational constraints that the universe came into existence, because if there’s truly non-being then there is no quantum gravity, there is nothing. And nothingness cannot be constrained because nothingness isn’t something, it is non-being. Which now raises the question, "If God was there before nothing existed, who created God?"...
A common argument is that if all things need a cause, then God must also need a cause. The conclusion is that if God needed a cause, then God is not God (and if God is not God, then of course there is no God). This is a slightly more sophisticated form of the basic question “Who created God?” Everyone knows that something does not come from nothing. So, if God is a “something,” then He must have a cause, right?

The question is tricky because it sneaks in the false assumption that God came from somewhere and then asks where that might be. The answer is that the question does not even make sense. It is like asking, “What does blue smell like?” Blue is not in the category of things that have a smell, so the question itself is flawed. In the same way, God is not in the category of things that are created or caused. God is uncaused and uncreated... He simply exists.
How do we know this? We know that from nothing, nothing comes. So, if there were ever a time when there was absolutely nothing in existence, then nothing would have ever come into existence. But things do exist. Therefore, since there could never have been absolutely nothing, something had to have always been in existence. So, how does God acting before time began get around the problem of God's creation?

God exists outside of time. Since we live in a universe of cause and effect, we naturally assume that this is the only way in which any kind of existence can function. However, the premise is false. Without the dimension of time, there is no cause and effect, and all things that could exist in such a realm would have no need of being caused, but would have always existed.
Therefore, God has no need of being created, but, in fact, created the time dimension of our universe specifically for a reason - so that cause and effect would exist for us. However, since God created time, cause and effect would never apply to His existence.
That ever-existing thing is what we call God. God is the uncaused Being that caused everything else to come into existence.

Since he asked her if she used her pen or his, I'm going to assume that some part of her instructions required her to either write the chosen word or to circle it (though in his setup he never mentions a use for a pen he just says to "remember" the word.) If so, all he'd really need to do is make sure that he "ambushed" her away from any good writing surfaces and then the trick is as easy as a blind person reading braille...of course I'm probably way off since I suck at figuring out tricks...

Quantum gravity was used to try to explain how the universe came into being from nothing. Then there's the many worlds hypothesis in order to explain the Fine Tuning of the Universe - That in itself challenges the question of God, the divine creator.

You cannot say that it is only due to certain quantum gravitational constraints that the universe came into existence, because if there’s truly non-being then there is no quantum gravity, there is nothing. The conclusion is that if God needed a cause, then God is not God (and if God is not God, then of course there is no God). This is a slightly more sophisticated form of the basic question “Who created God?” Everyone knows that something does not come from nothing. It is like asking, “What does blue smell like?” Blue is not in the category of things that have a smell, so the question itself is flawed.
