So to answer your question: No. I'd say a very slim majority of PalletShippers think that Palletshipping is canon.
@reluctantlydancing that's a very difficult line that Palletshippers have to tread- I mean, i believe 100% that they are made for each other, but I know in my head that they're kids, it's a kids TV show, and that they are never ending up together. EVER. So i don't really think any of the ships are cannon, because the only way it becomes cannon is that the writers make them kiss, say "I love you" and whatnot.
But some of the hints were on purpose- to keep us all quiet XD
@Mcheetah eh...Ash does base a lot of life decisions (where he goes next etc) on whether or not Gary is going to. You could argue that he probably just does it to have a friend nearby, and to keep up the rivalry. But a lot of people argue that it's because he doesn't want to be seperated from him.
For christ's sake, Ash ages slowly. He's only, like, fourteen right now, plus its aimed at kids, so I hardly think his sexuality is a focal point of the show whatever it is anyway.

I like AshxGary, just because it's hard to see Ash with any girl. He's kind of too retarded to understand girls, I think, and none of them -- Misty, Dawn, etc -- would ever really try to start something with him.
They all just seem too shy or reserved, or like they're too embarrased to admit they like him, in Misty's case. I don't really see a connection between Ash and the girls that's anything more than friendship.

Also, they just stuck that line in the American dub because in the jap. version Ash probably said something sexual.

Actually, Misty's returning in one of the new episodes. It's official. And stuff DID happen within those 10 years. She was featured in one of the advanced series special episodes, and Ash even mentions Misty in the new episodes, so it's not so much up to fan's perspective. And I don't really understand how anyone can watch those videos and not interpret that as romance. I think all the people arguing about the shippings are entertaining. May I point out that in the episode where Ash and Gary go to get the Earthbadge and Ash sees Gary's cheerleaders, he asks if they're Pokemon? He barely knows what women ARE. I lol'd at that moment in the show.
I like AshxGary, just because it's hard to see Ash with any girl. He's kind of too retarded to understand girls, I think, and none of them -- Misty, Dawn, etc -- would ever really try to start something with him.

They all just seem too shy or reserved, or like they're too embarrased to admit they like him, in Misty's case. I don't really see a connection between Ash and the girls that's anything more than friendship.

And Dark, you have to remember that he made that comment back when he was only 10. He's quite older and more aware now. He's also acknowledged the beauty of other girls/women since that episode. Also, they just stuck that line in the American dub because in the jap. version Ash probably said something sexual.
But to be honest, the only shipping with Ash that is actually MOST LIKLEY to happen in the show is Ash x Nobody at all.

Can't everyone just leave the shippings alone? It's what different people believe and what they WANT to believe. why do you feel the need to keep bashing them all? If you don't believe any of them and don't want to...fine, I don't care. But let other people believe what they want, even without evidence. Unlike the goldmine of pokeshipping hints, there are 0 palletshipping hints in any of the episodes. There are only hints that they maybe are friends. Besides, they don't even act like gay people either. Plus, no cartoon show company in their right mind would ever implement homosexuality in a cartoon show intend for a 6-12 year old age group. First of all, nobody is telling you that Gary liking Ash is a fact. It isn't. People like me just like the idea of it. Simple.
Second, Some people don't see the "hints" that those videos showed. I never saw the appeal of Ash/Misty. I never will. Misty annoys me. And I'm not the only one who has this opinion. Shoving "evidence" that can be viewed as something else does not help your case. You're just making your fellow Pokeshipper fans look bad.

Actually, Misty's returning in one of the new episodes. It's official. And stuff DID happen within those 10 years. She was featured in one of the advanced series special episodes, and Ash even mentions Misty in the new episodes, so it's not so much up to fan's perspective. And I don't really understand how anyone can watch those videos and not interpret that as romance. Even so, judging by the amount of misty/ash moments, you still say that he has just as much of a chance with Gary... how?

However, a lot of parents would freak at any hint of homosexuality in a show that their child would be watching, (which I personally believe is retarded, but unfortunately true.) All in all, palletshipping really dosen't make sense. The only ones that actually have any probability of existing are Pokeshipping, (especially), Contestshipping, and Penguinshipping. I'd like Hikarishipping, but sadly, it really just dosen't make sense :(

Even so, it's still much more likley that AshXMisty. There are really no hints towards Ash/Gary's homosexuality, so I don't know how people come up with such conclusions.
