@enterjcs No. Push-ups are very easy and place a fraction of stress and tension on the joints compared to lifting weights on the same plane of tension.
One has to be VERY careful with pushups like this and definitely NOT OVERDO IT. I did it for a year or two, doing too many reps and have caused a lasting injury from the wrist muscles to upper arms. No doubt I tore muscle fibers by doing this.
I knew how much these people knew once i heard decline push ups. I lol'd
