  • hes really got a better voice than John dose, but it seems as of late hes done everything he can to remove himself from the dukes of hazzard and his luke duke image.

  • @ClassicRockfan79 Yeah I know what you mean about Tom avoiding the show that made him. I met him and John back in 98 and Tom didn't seem to happy to be there. Don't know what his problem is. He is doing broadway which I really don't understand that

  • @ItchyGoomie ive met james best, john schneider, and sonny shroyer several times, all of them were very proud of the work they had done on the dukes, but tom never liked to get together for dukes autographs and meets. he just dosent want to be rememberd as luke.. but he actually started out on broadway back in the early and mid 70s, and thats actually where guy waldron and the dukes producers first discoverd him. so i guess he just went back after all was said and done.

  • He sings so good and he is a very good actor to .He puts his heart into his words and actions Love him he is one of my heros

  • cooter looks like he is mad about something and doesnt want to be there

  • @partyfriek - what else is new. Doesn't Cooter always have that look?

  • Great song! I listen to it a lot!!!! 1:55, lolz Roscoe!! FUNNY!! :•[)

  • @bonjovifan4life1, LYCKY!!!! Wish my parents had the money to take me to meet them! When I turn 16, I'm determined to paint my car orange and have the local mechanic make my horn sound like the General Lee.!! :))

  • i am going to meet him and john

  • I had such a crush on Luke Duke (: And when he sang this I sang right with him!

  • @44SweetEscape44 Tom Wopat starred 1999 on Broadway in Annie Get Your Gun as Annie Oakley's rifleshooting rival, then husband Frank Butler. His acting and singing were superb! There's a cd of the soundtrack (likely rentable at your library) ... treat yourself.

  • I love this song and Tom Wopat, or should I say Luke Duke, singing it makes it that much better.
