  • I am going to try it. I take synthroid, but it doesn't seem to work anymore. Is the loderol a prescript?

  • @darkonsoma

Ioderal (iodine plus iodide) is NOT a prescription drug.

I am taking a combination of Atomidine, which is liquid iodine, plus SSKI -- Super Saturated Potassium Iodide -- in order to get the same amount of iodine and iodide in Ioderal.

It is much cheaper doing it this way.

Iodine has made me feel much better.

I will eventually post an article / video about how it has helped me.

  • @larryshobbs kelp tabs cheap

  • I'm wondering if the atomidine us helping?

I have it but have read about others supposedly better on message boards.

I guess I'd better order some books.

    This is very interesting tho.

    Thnx

  • @nimbostratusdweller Here is a great article on the use of iodine by David Brownstein, MD.

    optimox.com/pics[/]Iodine[/]IOD-09[/]IOD_09[dot]htm

In the article he says that he found he had to uses higher doses before people got better.

He uses 6.25-50 mg per day of Iodoral, which are tablets containing iodine and iodide.

Iodide is iodine in an oxidative state according to Wikipedia.

One drop of Atomidine (iodine) contains 0.6 mg (600 mcg).

I encourage people to read this article.

  • I like your videos, very informative! I'm also about to take the 24 hours urine test to test my iodine levels! I know I'm very low as I'd been on prescription meds that contain flouride. Can't wait to get on iodine and see how much it improves my sleep. 2healthnuts ;-) Oh and I just subscribed to your channel! Great Job!

  • @2healthnuts Thank you very much.

  • I like your introductions - short, sweet and to the point. Thanks for posting this info.

  • @researchfiend Thanks.

  • I just read that if you are on thyroid meds it voids Iodine you supplement with, prevents uptake is this true anyone out there know about this ?? Thanks and be well

  • @apachejunction1

I am not aware of this.

    Thyroid hormones contain iodine.

T3 contains 3 atoms of iodine.

T4 contains 4 atoms of iodine.

    So, we need iodine.

It does not make sense to me to avoid iodine if someone is taking thyroid.

I take both iodine and desiccated thyroid.

  • @larryshobbs I checked with the manufacturer of Iodoral and they did tell me that taking both at the same time does not allow the thyroid to uptake much of the Iodoral while being taken at the same time making correction of a deficiency difficult , also while taking thyroid supplements the body does not make it;s own is what was explained to me . Not sure of what is right or not so right but I have stopped thyroid for about a week and will take just Iodoral and see if I have improvements .

  • @apachejunction1 How did this work out, did you have good results on iodoral?

  • Any new book in the work Larry? I do have your book with the red cover...must have been 12 years ago.

  • DHT,

No, I don't have any new books in the works.

I might do some video interviews with some fascinating researchers and doctors who are doing amazing things, but most people are unaware of it since there is no drug company money behind it.

    Thanks for your comment.

  • Make your own, search HerbsPlusBeadworks, Making Lugol's Iodine...2 parts

  • very interesting

  • I agree.

    Larry Hobbs

  • Iodoral, right? Okay, so if the peopel's thyroid results were normal, why would they need more iodine?

  • Derek,

Yes, I think that is one she uses.

I have not read the book on iodine / iodide, so I don't know the advantages of taking both over just taking iodine.

Dr. Larson also notes that iodine has been taken out of our food supply.

She notes that lack of iodine increases the risk of breast cancer... (and maybe other cancers?)

I started taking an iodine supplement after hearing Dr. Larson talk about this.

I'm taking Atomidine, a liquid iodine supplement.

  • Wow I love your videos. They have already helped me from drinking too much and mental problems. If I may so humbly ask, what is the music at the end of this video? Thanks from Atlanta, Ga.

  • shanatp,

Thank you very much for you kind comment.

I think the music is from Shawshank Redemption.
