In this case, it doesn't matter who's borrowing. What matters is who's working. I think it's time to mine the moon, to make those giant crystals, to make that foam iron and foam titanium. Where's that wheel in the sky? Where's Moon-base Tranquility?
All this talk about borrowed technology from the west is a load of bollocks. Througout history technology has always been borrowed from, village to village, city to city and finally nation to nation. Any way USA ' borrowed German technology and that from a nazi who used slave labour to make v1 and v2 rockets that killed thousands of civilians in London. UK and Usa turned a blind eye to these nazi crimes. So eveyone who makes fun of 3rd world countries using borrowed technology FUCKOFF!
Dont listen to these assholes that say, "borrowed technology" or "Indian astronauts will be called idiots" I'm a Canadian and I say good luck to India, and why not use Russian tech? it's the only damn stuff that's been used from start to now that's still up and running, your astronauts will be heroes, India should be serious about a new space race with China for the moon!
@hitcan79 WTF..!!! We INDIANS Have developed our own 'Cryogenic rocket engine' n only six country has this technology, its totally INDIAN made.. n by-the-way Hitcan tell me your country..it should be fucking Pak..
From what I know about the Indian program is that it is all borrowed technology from the Russians. But more power to you. Good luck with Russian technology, though. You would probably be better off developing your own. The Russians have the worst safety record of any space program in the world.
@seanbeavers3133 tell me who doesn't borrow. Atleast India is borrowing, other countries are stealing them and copying.
From Indian point of view, need to eliminate reservation, so that competetive people can come and work, should eliminate buaracracy, its sick in india, really verry bad. Should be made accountable and responsible.
Bring in private firms into this, and make sure their background check.
India is stepping forward cause of private firms, othewise, i can't even explain how worst
the day this is achieved..India will no longer be looked down upon..but it will stand eye to eye with the best across the world..however too much excitement is not good until the project is complete and is taken to the launchpad.. neither the less still proud of India and ISRO..
