  • how would you capture two characters conversation when they are far away from the camera

  • @AidanManuelArroyo take a shot of the act close up, then take a shot of the act from far. Use the audio from the close shot in the final edit.

  • this video is awesome! helped me sooooo much thanks man!

  • you work in films??

  • @bBoyHeretic I work in Corp./Commercial video field as income and film projects on the side.

  • Bought one using your affiliate link. Thanks for the vids you do, I enjoy them and I'm usually surprised at the ideas you pull out of your sleeve.

  • Which video editing software would you recommend for first timers please? I have a pretty basic laptop with Vista, the processor is AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-58, 1900 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s) and 4gb ram.

  • @NaturesCycles i recommend playing around with "Windows Movie Maker" which is already built in, then you can start progressing forward with "Sony Vegas Pro" which more than likely can fit on your laptop, or get an adobe suite package if your laptop can hold it (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop ect). Sony vegas is a good timeline editor while After effects is a good SPFX software..

  • @HJDtv Cheers. Funny - I had just ordered the Sony package before your response. I'll let you know how I get on. Thanks friend.

  • @HJDtv I have been playing with Vegas for a couple of days now. The only problem I have is that for some reason, even though I have selected to make a YouTube video, the file size created is massive e.g. 24GB. Why is it doing that? I am only editing together a couple of 1 minute clips with a little bit of music. Thanks.

  • @NaturesCycles I have never had that problem.. My version is sony vegas pro 8... The only time my files are huge is when I render then in quicktime format... Maybe try googling it.. Sorry I couldn't help.

  • Another good tip!

  • is the editer a 64 bit?

  • @U83RTV yep.

  • @Knoptop cool i think i'll try it

  • Great mic for super low end production!

  • My 12 year old niece plays with photobooth:)

  • I just use an iPhone in the shirt pocket. It picks up some great audio!

  • @madadivad1986 yes!

  • I use the same mic, though I got it years ago and its a RS branded version, works as good, if not better (because of thelonger cord) than higher priced models. If you do opt for Magix, get the 17+ version, a bit more $ but worth it. I use Video Pro X 2.5 for my personal stuff these days. (Avid at work)

  • I use the same mic! I've had it forever, got it when I was in high school. I still use it at work to this day. I've used other wireless systems and stuff, but this thing is much more convenient and simple. Sounds great for $20.

  • 10th comment WEWT!

  • Thnks for the tip! Love the videos

  • thanks for the tip dave :) audio technica have the best low budget microphones in my opinion :)

  • He buddy...Love your tutorials. If I wuz a woman I'd kiss ya!!! MAYBE NOT.

  • A really great tip!, It's really a cheap and easy way to get good sound

  • You could always go into photoshop to remove the mic if you really had to. The only problem you have to do frame by frame.

  • @mp4podcastDOTcom Or you could motion track it and remove it in AE.

  • @Evilhamster95 Yeah that would work also. Try After Effects first and if it has problems then Photoshop. Photoshop way is frame by frame takes a long time.

  • LOL thanks for washing :p

  • Hey! I got one of those! I attach it to the zoom H1. And how come I didn't get a wrist blaster??? (just kidding) :) Thanks for keeping it all going. Wow, Was I the first view? Yay!
