This is a masterpiece, I love Scott since Rewind That. I've been looking for his songs on youtube (to share, i've got cds) for ages.

He can mix jazz with hiphop, funk and rock and still is great Jazz. It takes a genius to do something like that.

The first song i've heard with christian scott was "say it" and instantly fell in love with his unique style of jazz so i went out and bought "rewind that" straight away. Recently i've discovered his other albums and their just as good if not better so i went out and bought all of his albums and certainly have not regretted it! Btw anyone been able to work out the meter/meters for this one? I'dd say it's starting in 7? please correct me if im mistaken.

@Ridderberg92 Rewind that is great, but my own favourite is no doubt Anthem. I jest need to get used to YYST (I've listened Anthem about 50 times just on iTunes, not to talk about iphone).

Anyway, anybody knows other young jazz musician? Please, don't talk about Coltrane, Davis or so, I already know them and I keep study and listening.

@Fobetc You probably know quite a bunch of them already but cats like Ari Hoenig, Jonathan Kreisberg, Mark Turner, Chris Potter, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Kurt Rosenwinkel and Aaron Parks are examples of fairly young hip musicians.

@Ridderberg92 Yes, it is mainly in 7, but in the B or I don't know how to call it part is 4/4, so this is really easy song in meter. ;)
