and you can help your friend, you just cant be say lvl 20 go into a teir one zone and go help him with RVR cuz as soon as ur flagged. you get chickened, happend to me last night i was in teir 1 and lvl 11 then just questing but i was flagged from recapping town and i ranked up far away from RVR zone and POOf chicken

It's a stupid mechanic.

I personally don't have a problem with ganking, but if they want to prevent higher tiers from ganking lower tiers, than just make the higher tier player weaker upon entering the lower tier zone.

Basically, make them hit like the highest level character can in the tier they move into. That way you can go back to pve in lower tiers for completionists and to help friends, and also pvp if it comes up. But you gain no advantage in pvp from being a higher tier.

I love the fact WAR will have fair competitive PVP.. It's something I wished for with WoW when I played, "BEFORE BG'S WENT LIVE" WoW also promised battle sieges and city RvR at release and it never happened. Siege weapons are just now being introduced 4 years later with WOTLK, whereas WAR will have it all at launch!!

Its not a penalty for killing someone. A high level will turn into a chicken if they enter a low level area. It lasts until you leave the lower level area. Its to prevent ganking.

Guys I remind you that ganking is also 1 VS many of lower lvl in WoW it didn't work well but in AoC a few lowbes can bring down a higher lvl character. I think it's a gr8 challenge for a couple of lowbes to take down a higher lvl foe so ganking isnt too bad after all. Also the idea of avening after is gr8 lol

I agree 100%!!! One thing that annoyed me in WoW was all the level 60's hanging out in level 20 zones just to gank lowbies. Whats the point in that? Their response is, "its fun" well if you enjoy griefing and preventing people from having fun by ganking them over and over, then that shows you are the real newb.

WAR rocks, when i played AoC i wass bored in 5 minutes -.-. and then when i had to go in an inn.. IT WAS INSTANCED WTTTTFFFFFFFFFFFF...... and the combat system bored me to death, :( thats all i gotta say,,, AoC sucks shit.

What is shown in the video is what happens if you travel to a lowbie area when you are a high level. If you don't leave in 10 seconds, you turn into a chicken with 1hp, and can only peck for 1 damage. This is to prevent senseless ganking.

Ok, back to the topic of the vid... it looks like you can float instead of fall when in chicken mode.

A few other notes i have heard about chicken form: you have 1 health point, and you can only cause 1 health point in damage. Rumours only, can't cite a source.

i think that there is many aspects of that is very good, but still i've seen some crappy things like slow pased fight, and just the animations are very slow, and that bother's me a little. and another thing is, that untill now it looks like every class is going to look like eachother. i really hope they are going to fix that :P

As i said in my other comment, it's not the same. It's not 8 classes spread out on sererval races. Each and every race has a different class for the Archtypes (Tank, DPS, ranged, support/healer).

So if you make a Black Orc, it's not the same as a Chosen. Which both are the same archtype.

Wh online sucks..Age Of Conan is so much better,no competition between those 2.Warhammer online was a much expected game but it let everyone down,the class balance totally sucked many glitches/bugs etc,and the world is just like wow's,kidish,everything looks plastic...And everything is instanced -.-,IMO age of conan is better to wow/warhammer online,but hey thats my oppinion you dont got agree :)By the way before you rush in any conclusions about age of conan,give it a shot you might like it ;)

played age of conan to 80 and i'll tell you one thing, the class balance in the game isn't perfect, rangers and HoXs dominate at high levels because HoXs have AoE crits and that can really destroy you, and we all kno assassins are very annoying

i played a conq on a FREE FOR ALL PVP SERVER

canceled my account, it was fun but in all honesty i couldnt run it very well and also i dont believe AoC had a focus, it was all around with every rpg aspect

A balance class is better then anything cause OP classes ruin games. I tryed WoW before and after EXP pack still Warlock,Rogues,Hunters also soon that Deathknight class they plan on making are OP so I quit the second time after couple of months. Warhammer is making it fair for everyone. Lineage 2 if your at war with another guild they can kill you in town or where ever. I think AoC is alright but I think Warhammer will beat it.
