This is a great great collaboration...more so considering it was done in a day! Just pisses me how folks, who have no sense of what music is...come here and leave stupid comment. Susheela Raman is a musical genius and a visionary!
@veemax1000 Her name is Sushila Raman, from Englad basicaly but has Indian roots and I think the last I knew about her she was in Australia. Awesome singer, with her own unique style, I guess that really makes her stand out but well that is just my opinion! :) If you feel like you wanna hear some more of her you can check out her channel on youtube.
That was quite amazing. And just so wonderful to see people from Lahore in India. I have replayed three times on big speakers and it still leaves me in awe.
well its not at the beginning, anyway the qawals go straight into a very intense mode. sadly, this show was stopped by the police as it ran over the jaipur curfew...there is a much more intense version of this song shot from the audience close to the stage.. this is a desk mix and doesn't really capture the ambience. people were freaking out!
good concepts, and she has good energy and rhythm but she needs to understand that these types of spiritual music, they induce the participant into a trance gradually through the song. if you start looking possessed from the beginning, it looks forced/unnatural...
