  • lol bin selber aus Frankfurt

  • Please change the music! I muted it and saw a wonderful message!

  • I agree. Sometimes it takes someone with a less brilliant mind to come out with ideas that appear to be simple but bring luster to the lives of other people.

  • "The secret of contentment is the realization that life is a gift, not a right." ~Author Unknown

  • This is a great story but this video has horrid quality. I can't even listen to the music cause it's blowing out my ear drums! You're all better people than I hahaha

  • Hi, think this is one of those for which you need to wear waterproof makeup. It sends a pwerful message adn how fitting someone with special needs shows us how special they are. My hat off to the consultant who sowed the seed of inspiration for Johnny. Wonderful!!

  • Basically companies wanting their employees to do things out of the goodness of their hearts, while management are purely motivated by profit.

  • I've seen this before, but always enjoying watching it. Every person can make a difference. It's easier than we think to brighten someones ... just smile.

  • this is truly awesome and indeed from the heart...We salute you Johnny....just asl long you dont get any wise ideas from the infamous LITTLE JOHNNY....haha

i truly have learnt something today and will share your story >>>>

  • WTG...Johnny!!!!

  • this made me cry! gosh im not an emotional type of person but this touches me and i cried- a lot!

  • "Johnny the Bagger" video used during My Florida Presentation .....thanks for asking

    Candy

  • You just have to know that "Johnny" hasn't gotten a raise and is still bagging groceries though. Further, he was probably reprimanded for clogging up the system and not getting people out the door fast enough.

This is a "touching" story, but I seriously doubt it's actually as happy for "Johnny" in real life as it is the company that is reaping the profits of his work.

  • I lOVE THIS

  • What a touching video from such a amazing young man. It shows us that no matter who you are or what kind of job you have, you can touch peoples lives in such a positive way.

  • absolutely love it

  • True....people are people. Just by reading the posts here I have more insight. People who don't care....well they don't care...I try to find ways to bless my wife and chidren every day...a note in a backpack...or a random loveletter on my wife's pillow...that is my reality...to those cynics out there...in the words of a Garth Brooks song.."i do this so, the world will know...it cannot change me" The negative posts for this video...will not change me!

  • @dryflowable Well, I think most people posting on this site thought kindly of the Downes Syndrome kid, if they believed the story. I'm not sure myself whether it's all true, part of it true, or none of it. But if it's true, or mainly true, then God bless the kid. That doesn't stop me from being cynical about customer loyalty campaigns. Their only purpose is to increase profit.

  • @archdeaconj yea, you might be right, but he isnt doing this for profit. ^^ maybe its, all true, partly true, or none of it all. yea, but i believe such kinds of stuff happens, maybe not in your country, maybe not in mine. yea, but there will definitely be at least one of every thing on earth. :]

  • they've never ever asked themselves why do this video said a lot of meanings. they were just keep on arguing...for me the video was nice and entertaining.

  • oh yeah!!! twas great the whole thing we could do for those guys out there whom promptly re advised the said video were all morons... they haven't said any positivity just to cope some sort of concerned. We do believed that if we could just determined the exact meaning of that particular video, we might have been devastated against those commotions out there.

  • I could tell my customers I have tourette's syndrome and bark randomly. The would make them feel sorry for me and entertain them at the same time. ... What is the real background of this story. A corner grocer with 3 isles and the bagger is the owner's son. In the real world, you and I are just looking to get fast prompt service with a smile. Quit trying to make a job out of a simple concept. If you want to play pshchologist get an office with real patients.

  • I'm certainly not "at the top"...I have no money and no power to my name, but I vow that throughout my life I will uphold integrity at all costs, and never sacrifice kindness/compassion for anything. I mean...isn't that the point of life anyway? I feel like bitching about the problem, or "the others" is not productive or conducive to a solution. Working on myself is all I have to offer & really all that should be on my plate at all times.

  • What a great story, God bless the good people of this world!! The small acts of kindness we do have influence beyond what we can ever see or comprehend, as do the small acts of unkindness we do.

I'm a waitress & sometimes it's tough to keep a positive attitude about people after a 10 hour work day of feeling abused. I will think of this video from now on when I'm having hard times at work. Thanks for posting.

  • This video made me cry, during a seminar we had at work. To make things worse, I was sitting right across our CEO. Quite a memorable experience.

  • whats the name of this song??

  • The politically correct term is "an individual with Downs Syndrome." People have disabilities, they are not defined by them. Therefore, we do not refer to them as "Down Syndrome individuals." Not an autistic person, but a person with autism. It is merely an aspect of who they are.

If this story realy is true, it is inspiring. If not, I have worked with many people who have developmental disabilities and I find pleanty of inspiration from them!

  • This type of propaganda is carefully designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator, low-to-minimum wage worker, that makes up the part of most organizations that actually do the most work but are paid the least. You won't make them feel better or work harder by paying them more, so you show them a video like this or the infamous "Fish" videos and books, on a regular basis. Do some real research and find out the truth.

  • I show this during our new employee orientation. I cry EVERY time. It is so inspirational.

  • today my sociology teacher showed this to my class and the whole time i had goosebumps. this is a great story. so i had to come home tonight and watch it again. tommarrro i will be a johnny. :]

  • Maybe I'm just overly critical, but this thing reeks of lameness. It's basically a sappy email forward that people have somehow been convinced is impacting. I mean SERIOUSLY, it's a slideshow with cheesy music, crappy production values, and a story specifically crafted to tug at the emotions of viewers. All I have to say is that just because you put the words "This is a true story" in a video it doesn't make it true. I'm pretty sure I've seen that on every email forward I've ever gotten too.

  • Mate it doesn't me that you are negative and you think negative everybody else should i f i was you i won'even bother watching this kinda videos and make stupid comments. Just relax dude and let everybody take positive thinks out of it yeah! have a good day fella!

  • Are you serious? If it makes someone's day or helps one person become a nicer person....who care's how lame or how soppy or how true it is? If it helps one person have a nicer day then its done its job. If more people in the world behaved in this way, what a better place it would be. Maybe you should try it..its amazing how good doing a kind deed for another can make you & them feel. Nice peole really do exist I sincerely hope you experience it sometime.

  • guess ur not a "johnny" today its people like u that dont make the world any better. thank god for Johnny!

  • I agree 100%. Why give people false hope? Most people just want to get out of the grocery store, not wait for a quote from a handicapped kid. The sad thing is you people defend it and don't care if its false, even though it was created by a money grubbing marketing company. Life in most cases is more complicated than this video describes, and that's a fact that people have to face but would rather not. They'd rather believe in Johnny.

  • I hear you say you feel this story is propaganda designed by a rich company trying to inspire employees to work harder w/o having to give them anything in return.

As a waitress who often feels pushed around by the uncaring corporation that controls my job (and therefore a substantial part of my life!), this story (real or not) inspires me to never allow myself to become like those who allow themselves to abuse others, but rather to keep working on myself & learning how to "love my neighbor"

  • you really are a crazy asshole

  • You guys are missing the point. The video is lame, and the fact that people miss out on that fact is pretty sad. Its "job" is to fool you. People need to find inspiration and happiness in true, concrete situations, (better pay and working conditions), not empty handed stories. I've seen it happen too many times, stuff like this only lasts a short while, then employees realize it was all a crock and the business goes down the toilet.

  • A teacher at school first showed this to us. I thought it was so insperational. I showed it to my cousin, incensitive jerk. Shh, don't tell her.

  • Th0ughT f0r tHe DaY

thankz for comin two shop, may you be always remember sale of two coffee on shop sundays, thankz -J0hHNEY

  • If you want your own copy of this video you can buy it from Visionpoint for the low-low price of $995. It's left as an exercise for the reader to compare and contrast that fact and the message, and judge its value in context.

  • All stores should do things like this. people like kind of thing, not the auto self serve pay pass things.

  • @ak47a Well, if it maximises profit, they do it. If it doesn't, they don't.

  • I just got back from a sales convention and saw this. I was so moved, that I wanted to share the story with my wife. I was thrilled when I found it on youtube. Great story!

  • Great little story but very powerful. Thanks Johnny!

  • Hey Anyway you can Share this movie? Let us download it?
