woah! that rly the 18th mamba? im thinking of doin this... im guessing you hav a massive spur and tiny pinion. but isnt the shaft size bigger on 540 motors? where did you get the pinion from? how many volts?

it has no power out of the hole! he has to get it rolling to go that fast, its totally worth it to just use the 540 size motor. If he ran a short track he'd need to gear down even further... You'd probably see better performance with a well-tuned 12T brushed 540, and it would cost much less.

tt01's arent meant to hold big brushless motors, all they are a a beginers car, get a ta05, xxx-s

tc5 etc for doing the brushless shit, tt01's arent worth the hassle

I wouldn't use what he is using, it is too small for anything above 1/16th scale, i've had a Mamba micro motor and it is tiny. I'd go for a Mamba Max 5700 brushless system.

dude i have a tt-01 too;) anyway with the choice of a motor you must always look at the diameter. My tt-01 uses a type 540 motor, just like any other tt-01.
