right click over the desktop icons in the main bar and scroll up to preferences. It brings up a menu that asks how many desktops you want and you just make your choice from there.
hey man on your main gnome panel, you changed the animation so the menus "bounce" in (like when you click on System > Preferences... etc.), i've been looking everywhere in the CCSM and i can't find how to change that...mine is stuck on the default boring fade-in fade-out...
on the bottom of the original dock on the right hand side you'll see the number of desktops and a mini representation of them, just right click over that and scroll down to preferences, click it and it brings up the menu to choose how many desktops you get.
you did not get 4 cubes, you got 6 sides, two of em are blank, duh. using cube without a reason is weird anyway, 2 workspaces is more than enough if you're not a fkn graphic designer or something. and thanks for posting this vid, could be explained much better etc but at least I could get some clue out of it unlike other people who just post how cool their unoriginal cube looks....gawd... thanks
Go look at my video on how to enable compiz fusion Compiz fusion is compiz and beryl together and then come back to this video and im sure it will make alot more sense.
Go to system-preferences-advanced desktop affects go to the first option general options then desktop size under horizontal virtual size make it 4 vertical virtual size make it 1 and number of desktops make it 1 then try it out thanks for watching check out my channel subscribe comment rate.
Cool story about it being more advanced. But that's a subjective opinion. How do you define advanced?

Please repost this many times :)

My opinion is different.
Windows is good for multimedia,
Mac's good for production,
Linux is good for geniuses who want to have fun :3
