Big thing to point out tho; how are u supposed to accurately accelerate, brake, e-brake, pause etc, and u will have to always play it in ur lounge (if it's big enough).

Except Eyepet does not offer what Natal does, simply because Natal is a level above PSEye.

Explain youserlf. How is it better? they are both motion sensing devises wich let you interact with a virtual creature. They bath can track you in a 3d inviroment were you can move you'r hand foward or back. A level above Pspeye? The Ps3 has had thies technology for quite a while. This is nothing new or impressive if you already own the system. Since its new for the 360 users they are taking it like candy.

Natal uses two cameras, where the second camera is IR and measures the exact distance of everything in the scene. Hence offers REAL 3D motion detection, unlike the 2D motion detection with inferred 3D of others. Natal also has a built-in image processor and memory, therefore doesn't eat up console CPU and memory. Other webcams use the console for ALL image processing. Eyepet is interesting, could be great fun, but uses screen height to infer position in 3D space (higher=further away).

So it's false to claim/imply EyeToy/PSEye does everything Natal does, because that's simply not true. And I'm not claiming Natal is ALL NEW. Richard Marks, the creator of EyeToy, was so impressed by the Z camera (from the company 3DV, which MS bought this year), that he was demonstrating that tech himself way back in 2004! Showing the differences between it and standard webcams.

I'm sure if it were up to Richard Marks, Sony would have gone the Natal route, but instead Sony chose the wand.

There have been debates already about the few seconds of latency. But it could be safe to say that not every games will be that playable. Some need to feel objects in the hands others don't.

But it's an really impressive technology but yeah I don't think thae accuracy will be 1 :1.

As a hardcore gamers, there are so many questions I have. How accurate is the controller as far as latency? Will all 360 agmes, past, present & future be made compatible with Natal? How will character-based action/platformer/adventure games use Natal for movement instead of the standard controller? I can see so much potential for Natal as far as racing, flight, sports, menu-driven games like RPGs, RTSes, card/poker/Magic The Gather-type games but still can't put my finger around action games.

They did a live demo of it at their press conference and showed someone playing a Breakout-esque game and everything she did was emulated in the game probably... .3 seconds after she did it in real life. It was very well done and that can only get better the more they tweak it
