  • Quantic sounds good at any speed. :)

  • quantic is the mother fucking shit

  • Heavy stuff, ya'!

  • i just played this song on youtube and itunes at the same time with a small gap between.. you should try this :)

  • semitone? lol, a semitone doesn't apply in time, but in harmony.

  • @escampadeiro hows that possible? if a harmony isnt in time then what the fuck is it?!?

  • @escampadeiro it applies in both! if you take a fixed wave-form, such as this track and increase the pitch, it will it play more quickly!

  • this is just the way i like my sounds served

    free

    and to the point!

  • Nice... Another fave...

  • yo did you slow this down? its slower than the cd

  • @theDan3391

i did not. Maybe there was an error while it rendered the video.

  • @VultureCulture2000X yeah it's about a half step down (one semitone). I uploaded my version of it, you should check it out and see if your cd version is correct.

  • @theDan3391 it seems like my CD of "the 5th exotic" is a little bit slower than yours. That's pretty funny.

  • @VultureCulture2000X So I couldn't stand this mystery and I went out and got me the nice full FLAC version of the song (if you don't know what FLAC is look it up) but yeah after getting the FLAC I can say confidentally that I was wrong and your CD is right I've been listening to this CD sped up 1/12th the speed this entire time!!!! What has my life meant!?

  • @theDan3391 Thanks for the research. Maybe your life now will run a little bit slower, who knows ;)

  • @VultureCulture2000X ahahah awesome comments :) And yes indeed this speed is right

  • @theDan3391 Ew, I have the sped up version too, somehow haha.

  • @theDan3391 A semitone is a measure of notes not tempo I reckon.

  • @Bouchon211 Sorry I mean't he adjusted it by slowing down the song 1/12th of its original speed, aka a semitone. There's a function on audacity where you can just slow it down by the semitones, and it effects the tempo as well. So the song is 1/12th slower than the original and it's effectively lowered by one semitone.

  • Baked in the Hash

  • Quaking Grass

  • ya dope sound, first time I heard of these guys. bangin no doubt

  • the dislike bar is longer than justin bieber's dick.

  • @djws194 He has a dick?

  • @djws194 i thought it was justine bieber this whole time

  • @TheBlitz1 Justin's sister who decided to make MUSIC, you mean? ;) ;)

  • This song is awesome

  • nice and jazzy

  • dude, i walk around my neighboorhood on nice nights with quantic playin, smokin j's. its great. try it,itll blow your mind

  • @kloudyskyz hell yes dude, I do the same thing.

  • @thatbarshakid niiice, now its cold here so i go sit in my car and play it while i smoke

  • @kloudyskyz yeah you right.........

  • @kloudyskyz yes, winter nights i do the same thing; big pair of headphones, my favourite big parka, my dog by my side and just walk around and look at the stars and get lost in the music- normally i go for quantic, portishead, uk hip hop/trip hop or maybe a dark jungle or drum and bass album, goldie, photek or maybe some classical or jazz

  • @mishabruml Yeah man, im also a huge metal head, so i just get my mind right and then figure out all the amazing time signitures of born of osiris, necrophagist etc. Also one of my favorite calming bands is animals as leaders. if you really want to just feel insane throw a playlist together of quantic and animals as leaders and it is just....awesome to say the least

  • @kloudyskyz cool man ill check those bands out, im into metal and rock a bit, like black sabbath, hendrix, zeppelin, pink floyd ect. a really calming prog rock band i know are called "this will destroy you" check them out if u dont know already, especially a song called "burial on the presidio banks", thats a great headphones-on-your- own-in-the-dark track. and yeah having playlists that jump around from rock, to electronic, maybe some reggae, shake it up its all good!

  • @mishabruml yeah i like handrix, pink floyd and sabbath a lot, im not in to zeplin, i think jimmy paige is a sloppy guitarist and over rated but thats just my opinion. but im in to a whole lot of music, any genre is cool with me as long as the songs are good. but honestly i just feel like smoking makes music so much more enjoyable and thats its just the best way to relax and just chill with some good tunes

  • @kloudyskyz yo just cause other people think higher of him than you would doesn't mean you shouldn't listen to em. I think his sloppiness was deliberate, they were extremely Blues based so for them to add in their own flavor he loosened up what is relatively a fairly tightly played genre. He used to record his guitar parts like 7 times over much like how tupac rapped, it may be "sloppy" but it definitely adds something that a tightly played part lacks. just imo though

  • @theDan3391 well i mean as an extreme technical playing guitarist, i have no respect for him. I understand some sloppiness such as hendrix or stevie ray vaughn, that was their style, and they were good at it, but for jimmy paige to steal other artists songs and redo them and claim thats not true, i lost all respect for him, and zepplin. Also if one were to steal someones music, at least play it less sloppy is my opinion. I try hard to make every note perfect even when playing insane solos.

  • @theDan3391 also, i think you should go up to the search bar and type led zepplin steals songs, several people put a lot of effort into making a vid of songs that were obviously stolen from the original artists by led zepplin, they also have several class a lawsuits against them for this same topic. check it out if you doubt me
