DUDE THIS IS TERRIBLE, KANGAL should be number one hands down, any mix of that middle easter breed makes all other dogs look like, pets. The kangal /kurbash breed mix is by far the strongest and largest, i would prob put the dogo second behind it. a kangal is basically a 160 pound shepherd, american bulldogs put SHAME to pitbulls as well when it comes to strength, pitties are VERY strong but people who say they are the strongest are just ingorant. Also as far as bite strength is kangals > 550psi

@gdemat0s, well i know in the USA there are some reputable breeders but one thing you want to look for is import the original dog from middle east. any good breeder should have the line available for view. i must advise as well that kangals are a HARD breed to control, they need a lot of space to run, they need to be well socialized, and they need an experienced owner. its quite sad to see the majestic dogs dumped and euthanized because someone with no experience just wantsintimidation

This is all very subjective. Strength needs to be defined. Dogs are the most diverse mammal species. They have been bred to do soooo many different things(except toy dogs, get a job). A pitbull terrier might be a guard dog but it can't pull a sled for any significant period of time. Pretty much all dog breeds are awesome. And muts tend to be smarter and healthier than pure bred dogs. I like Akitas.

A 50 pound pit is more that capable of taking down any of the dogs on this list. Even the rot. The rottweiler was bred a a herding dog. The pit was breed for bear and bull baiting, where the dogs werent aloud to stop until one of them was dead. Rottweilers bite, but pit bulls bite and hold until whatever it has stops moving

I'm a personal shutzhund trainer from bk and I've measured different bite forces. I've measured six dobies bite forces that avg. 210.7 lbs per sq in.
