  • I know its hard to kill one of these plants but I manged to kill off part of my lucky bamboo. Now I want to propigate the one stalk I have left it has only on shoot coming off it. My question is it safe to propigate from that one stalk? I dont want to complete kill the plant off by taking the one stalk that is growing well.

  • can i have one of your bamboo plant please

  • There is a chinese dollar store near where I live and they have lucky bamboo from 4 inches to 2 feet fall. The only bamboo that cost a bit more ($1.50) is the tiny clusters

  • Will the plant stalks grow taller? I'm new to this plant. I just bought a bunch for $7. They range from 2 1/2" - 4". Thanks.

  • On my bamboo there is a stalk that bends off to a weird shape..... like this >

  • I still don't get how you get the spiral on lucky bamboo... can you show us? instead of sit there and talk...

  • i bought a new lucky bamboo with a spiral on it, from my local florist.

it has tones on new growths (nodes?) that have turned brown...

    are they dead?

  • i got my bamboo yester day and it came in a tube with water and i have no idea what

i nead for it can you tell me what i nead?

  • i bought my "lucky bamboo" about 4 years ago. The stalks will not grow any more because they were treated when i bought them but the shoots however have grown from about one inch to roughly 8 inches in the past 4 years. I'd like to get more but was curious about the ones i have. You can cut a cactus and grow a whole new plant fromt the clippings, can you do that with lucky bamboo shoots?

  • you are one dumb dude. say what you mean. i haven't seen any of your prior videos. stop telling us you probably told us something before. just tell us again and don't waste words about what you've probably done. what is your point about how the new stalk exists?

  • how do you get it to gow so tall

  • plaese anwser how did you get those three feet stalks idk how to do it please reply

  • thanks for the info!!!

  • I've had my LB plant in full light of a flourescent lightbulb, and it seems to be growing fast. Will it grow faster without the lightbulb?

  • can u put a lucky bamboo stem in an fish tank??

  • wow thank for your help. i just got mine ;)

  • it's because it's not really a bamboo. It's apparently a dracena according to Yolanda VanVeen.

  • I got my lucky bamboo tonight! It's already growing leaves so fast, I'm so excited! Do I have to give it that green liquid food? Or can I just do the bottled or filtered water and how often do I water it, every other day? Thanks!!

  • I have a question 4 you... I want to know how long you should wait before cutting the little leaf off of the bamboo.. how big should it be or does it matter?? please right back.. Davenn (:

  • HOLY IT TAKES A YEAR????????????

  • Yes, it takes allot of time. Sometimes it might take longer then that. It just depends on the plant.

  • do u poke holes on only one side of box or what. thanks if u answer this.

  • Yes one side only.

  • @LuckyBambooExpert Thanks for the video, so you basically put the bamboo in the box with holes in one side and rotate the plant how often? I think you said every day in this video and then said every 2 months, which is it?

    Thanks again Jacob!

  • My lucky bamboo always have yellow leaves. Why is that and how do I make this stop? Thanks/

  • Maybe it's the water you're using to house your lucky bamboos? Try using bottled or filtered water. Or maybe it might be because the roots are too packed. I'm not that sure, I'm not the bamboo expert! :)
