there's a nice town park, pool, athletic field and a golf course! Some small retail and just about anything you'd want. I like these small "French rooted" towns they seem to be pretty full of "joie de vivre" Don't forget that gigantic dinosaur out at the main road intersection at Hwy 13!! :D
Not at all, though we only range from pure English speaking to pure French speaking population- I have never heard it pronounced differently from anyone. The town has much interaction with it's sister town in France-they visit regularly and they all agree.

I lived there when I was around like.. 3 years old till I was probably, 9-10 years old.
My parents used to work at pontiex cafe. if you ask around, you maybe might of heard about them :]

I live in Ponteix and it is pronounced "pahn-teks"
Even our sister town in France pronounces it this way
