  • Is that the Olympic White version? Because it looks gold with white, while in most pictures it looks white with a natural woody color.

  • @cocaswa Its white with a gold scratch plate,,,, I have sold it though!

  • the classic vibes are where it's at.

  • .....I read somewhere that the alnico 5 magnets sound like alnico 2`s after about 20 or so years...I had both cv`s but kept the 50`s with the alnico 3 pu`s...i don`t wanna wait that long....my son thought the cv 60`s to be a ballsier instrument...so he is the happy owner now....the cv 50`s is as light as a feather....got behringer pedals...compressor/sustainer, blues overdrive, fuzz box and a noise reducer...play through a fender frontman 212....can only recommend the setup..all budget..all fun

  • think this guitar is worth installing a jb?

  • Ничто челевеческое ни чуждо))

  • @PALAZZIOOO errrr what? ha ha,,,,,,,,

  • @steve1969pierce It`s Russian :)

  • Don't cha get a prize or something for getting past 10,000!!!!! Ha ha,,,I know they came to see the guitar, not me!!!!

  • massive fan of gilmours and when i saw this i was like...WANT!!!

  • btw whats that little thingie on the table that you are using for preset?

  • @510milutin Hi, the guitar is plugged straight into the Boss Micro BR which is packed full of different effects amp models etc. I just put in a drumbeat (again loads of kits and options), then strummed some chords, then added fake bass (turned the tone down and played an improvised bassline), then did some sad ass G'n'R whistling to get some melody in my head then just played the solo over all very off the cuff.

  • @steve1969pierce

    Thanks for the reply :)

  • haha i was so into this guitar that i didnt notice the girl around 1:03 first time i watched

  • Just a note, I recently played a Fender Classic Player and a Classic Vibe Strat, without doubt the CV was silky smooth sounded fantastic, the classic player sounded thin, felt kind of insubstantial and was just not sexy to play.......I still get a thrill when i pick up the cv!!!! Just a tip there is a lovely 60's sitting in Duck Son and Pinker in Bath just waiting to be picked up,,,,if I had the money id get it,,,,,I think the 60's is even nicer than the 50's,,,,,,sounds warmer and chimier.

  • @Aimb0Y Nor would I!!!! lol

  • Ive always wondered what makes an electric guitar player hold thier guitar like a classical (in between each leg ) or the regular acoustic way ( on thereright leg)

  • Angle of the neck, in the position I can get the Zakk angle (neck up at 45 degrees) which I think makes it easier to play! I still fluffed the hi notes!!

  • @steve1969pierce thatnx aways wondered that i play the other way but thats just what im used to great solo great guitar man!

  • Nice playing. The Strat looks great. I have an American and a Mexican Fender Strat which are great but I have also played one of these classic vibes and I really want one! They are great guitars regardless of the name on the headstock. 3 strats would be a bit greedy thouugh, I think I will have a hard Job convincing the wife also!

  • nice playing dog next time more volume

  • what the diffrence bwtween the 50's and 60's models?

just fineshes and Maple or Rosewood?

  • I think that the pick ups are different, the 60's is a bit warmer sounding I believe....I am not sure what other differences there are but the Squier website has all the info.

  • @nadibs 50's have alcino 3 pickups, 60's have alcino 5 pickups

  • great playing !!

  • nice shoes!

  • I was on holiday!!!! Uh except I'm wearing them now, they are very comfortable!!!

    I am getting old!!

  • Love the guitar. I like also prefer these over MIM

  • tis guitar is fucking gorgeous, looks like david gilmour's #0001 strat

  • Its a wonder they dont use that to market it! It looks really good close up too. I am gonna try out some mex strats and american to see if they are better, they would have to be good!

  • thanks for the help x-)

  • hello im thinking of buying a guitar to play sweet musik AND metal so i dont know what i should buy .................... choice between a Jackknife (flying v) or that fender classic like that. what should i choice ?

  • If you love metal (like Zakk Wylde etc) then the fender/squier is not the way to go,,,,definately go for something with humbuckers!! The v is cool but really difficult to practice with cos it doesnt sit well on your knee. I reckon you should go for the Epiphone Les Paul (or Gibson). Though if you wanna play sweet music and blues the Classic Vibe is great!

Something in between would be a PRS soapbar which might be fun, but still not meaty enough for metal!!

The best option, for me, is both!!!!

  • the best '50s guitar finish! <3

  • Wow. The guitar's fine. But the girl in the window...

  • COOL ! beatiful girl ! :p

    nice solo man ! 5/5

  • Keep rocking fella!

  • thanks man.. oh and good job:-)

  • i'm about to buy my first electric and have around 200 dollars... wanna play blues-rock. any suggestions

  • I am not really sure what a Dollar can buy, being a sterling man, but I suggest you save until you can buy either an Epiphone Les Paul Standard or one of these Classic Vibe Strats. These are my guitars-they are cheap enough for a beginner, give you classic sounds and will last your playing life. I really dont see the point of spending anymore until you are a pro!

  • nice solo sir. How does this guitar stay in tune when you play it?

  • First thing I did was set the action a bit lower, then stripped the strings off, put some graphite on the nut,,,,,put on some good new strings, pulled them quite hard, tuned, pulled, tuned etc. Now they have pretty much stayed in tune ever since!

  • Theres a monster looking in on you sir... He likes your solo.. or he likes you!!

  • look at your window ;)

  • I know only two of my mates have noticed!!! Well spotted!!!

  • nice video dad

  • Cheers Franco, one day we will!

  • You make me proud Steve, that's a lovely cool solo. Hope we can jam together one day. Keep the spirit alive...Bro!!!
