  • This is by far the best Disney video for "Remember When" that I've ever seen. I remember first hearing it after the fireworks during the 50th celebration, and I was only ten at the time. This video almost brought tears to my eyes and I just want to say thank you so much for this. :) It brought me back to the childhood I thought to be long gone.

  • très belle vidéo, la musique est parfaite !

  • the rides that I loved and the rides I never got to see..it is for me the happiest place on earth..

  • Worst song ever!

  • Made me cry...i wish i knew walt he sams so cool...now donsey not the same i wishe dinsey is the way it was whe he imaged it bow it to much they added way to much stuff it crouded with stuff and lyk the haunted mantion is runied

  • @glassesgurlmusicluve Actually Disneyland is not ruined, because Walt made sure that new things continued to come to Disneyland over the years, he made sure all his attractions were always updated with new technology, and he also made sure he had things in the park that the public wanted, not just what he wanted. So Disney respects the life of Walt Disney by keeping his desires alive by continuing to add new things, and giving the public what they want.

  • I Love This Song, It Always Lifts My Spirit <3, and even if im having Trouble In Reality, Disney Will Always Be There In My Imagination and In My Heart, It'll Always Be There For Everyone <3. Thank You Walt Disney For Creating This Magical Place For Everyones Happiness and Enjoyment, Walt Disney is My Inspiration to Live Happy and Always Dream Big Because That Dream Will Come True Someday <3

  • This song makes me cry for walt disney :'(

  • lol love ya walt RIP i wish he was stall ailve

  • Walt Disney is my HERO!

  • Yes, I well remember the park. I grew up about 20 miles from Anaheim, during the glory years of the 1960s. The fabled "E-Ticket"; local kids standing by the exits asking people to give them all tickets which were not used; Mr. Lincoln: Carousel of Progress; and my favorite, It's a Small World, when it FIRST opened.

  • 5 people dont remember their imagination!! >:(

  • check out wdw 2010 mcintire

  • I wish Walt Disney was still alive.

  • I love you Walt Disney!!!!

  • I may love screamo music, but I will never lose my love for Disney. I loved from when I was little up until now, and forever, I will. <3 Walt Disney is a genius and it will live on for eternity. <3 I admire him so much! I miss him a lot, I wish I could have seen Disneyland back then. Its changed so much, but that's because Walt Disney is gone. He would've kept it the same way it was, but I like it now as well. Well done Walt Disney, you shall live on forever :')) <3 R.I.P...

  • Walt Disney was a phoney patriot who supported anti swecond amendment laws and communist agendas. He was truely an enemy of America.

  • @AmericanMega2 You better stop making this up! Your information about the Disney Family is wrong! Elias Disney is not a communist and Walt Disney is not an enemy! You are a total maniac!!!

  • @TheAC29 Pay no attention him. He's a complete idiot.

  • @whbon73 Oops, I meant TO him.

  • @whbon73 Yeah, you're right he is a complete idiot who doesn't know the Disney Family.

  • i built my first memory with my gf there at disneyland. so magical, it been 5 years now and she's still the one i loved the most. i hope you guy will have and share the same wonderful feeling the i felt. this is something that will stay with you for all time

  • oh wow this was such an amazing video! I almost cried! You had such beautiful footage from old DIsneyland, and from now. It was great! I can't wait to see this place again! 26 more days :)

  • well made! i swear i tear up every time i see this! disneyland is so awesome i am so obsessed with it :D

  • an instant fav! btw to anyone whos asking it was LeeAnn Ryhmes who sang the song i think. where did u get the clips? they're all amazing. a perfect tribute to the perfect dream, and very well done *applause*

  • i love this park and stop the critizicing Disneyland is the BEST!!!!!!! Thanks Walter Elias Disney

  • Thank you Walt Disney for creating this magical place where adults and children alike can enjoy the fantasies of the past and present. Rest in Peace.

  • love the song

  • @americangirlpixar who sang this song?

  • @biechiekheng idk but they're really good

  • @biechiekheng Lee Ann Rimes performed the song, which was composed for the 45th Anniversary of Disneyland in the year 2000.

  • This is wonderful! I have the disney spirt right now! I want to go there like this moment in time! lol! I love disneyland...but who doesnt?haha

  • Simply one amazing man with huge dreams that has brought happiness to many, many people !! May his dreams continue...

  • @ronandsheryl

I know! Walt was an amazing man! No other theme park that I have been to, gives me the feeling I have when I am in Disneyland park: the happiest place on earth! It is my favorite place in the entire world and always will be! God Bless you Walt!

  • Disneyland is my favorite my place.I always bring my Bakugan and Yu-Gi-Oh with me.I always duel,or brawl just for fun.

  • I hate that I can't even read the comments on this video because of the negativity. Disneyland is MY happy place, and Walt Disney is MY hero.

  • I agree, all these people are always nitpicking, saying a bunch of bad things about Walt Disney but what none of them ever talk about is how he inspired millions of children to follow their dreams and wish upon a star.

  • Great video!!

  • i was a t disney yesterday and when i was thare i felt like a kid agien, reading all the bad comments makes me feel rrly bad on how ppl see walt.

how can i get this song?

  • i agree with you. I went there a few years ago and you do become a kid again...my aunt was worse than me...she literally pushed kids out of the way to see Mickey Mouse ;p hahaha

  • Worse is, what you say: "...was the? GREATEST MAN THAT LIVED OVER THIS WORD " (I even leave out the totally irrelevant and kiddielike (sorry) reference of Chist) Walt was a: 1/ RACIST, 2/ SEXIST, 3/ COMMUNIST HATER => committed near criminal activities under McCarty. So, LEARN YOUR HISTORY FIRST

  • Shows how much you know. Unfortunately, the communist part was true. But the first two were not.

  • They were all three.true, definately. And chronologically, it showed up publicly in the exact order I gave.

    Inform yourself.

There is way to much myth about Walt Disney.

  • "Definately"?

I guess I am a "communist" if I say that is the French spelling for "definitely"?? LOL!

If there's "to much" (Too much, I guess!) myth about this man, why do you bother checking YouTube about him?!

    Weird!

Why so much hate? So sad!

  • Since when, facts from history = "hate"? Can't you live with reality? Weird.

I'm just facing you people to historical facts

(as aggreed by img921) that were censurised in the biography video that was paid by the Disney family, except for the chapter about the "communist cleanout" under McCarty. Because it was impossible to hide out THAT dark period: it's in all available files (records of the public hearings).

  • Frenchdisneyfan ,

You know that typing errors occur & that you cannot correct afer posting on Youtube. If that's your ONLY point you can add to the discussion, return after you read the history.

(That kind of remarks are off-topic.)

  • Actually, a lot of his former animators have come out saying that he was indeed racist, and had a separate department where he'd place the women, so he was also sexist. They were relegated to menial work such as inking, and weren't allowed to draw with the men. He also wouldn't allow his animators to unionize. He left a lovely legacy, but he was anything but the sweet "Uncle Walt" he wanted people to think he was.

  • A lot of his disgruntled former animators came out saying he was racist because they were laid off during the strike. The Sherman Brothers said he was never racist, not even Art Babbitt, Walt Disney's worst enemy ever claimed he was racist.

  • @Wig4 You are a sad strange little man. You have no respect for the greatest visionary that ever lived. Walt Disney was never any of those things.

  • @96gamerdude

Here we go again. Inform yourself on historical facts.

Disney, was the great inspirator of his films and Disneyland, and at the same time, he was what I shortlisted.

If you are unable to face history , then just be a blind believer. The USA is packed with blind believers.

  • @Wig4 No you need to inform yourself you IDIOT!! Have you ever met the man? Have you ever talked to his brother or nephew Roy? Wait, I just had this great idea. GO MEET HIS DAUGHTER AND TALK TO HER!!! I know im only 14 and you probably think I am one of those retared boys that are trying to be skater or be ghetto. But no im still Walt Disneys biggest fan and I know more about Walt Disney more than you would know about your own life.

  • @96gamerdude

Being a fan, has nothing to do with denying history.

    W. Disney's biblography documents everything painstakingly.

I know 14 year olds are not interested in historical facts, because then are unable to see the difference between resulting work, and behaviour.

I can just repeat : inform yourself.

By your action of insulting me however, I will report you.

  • @Wig4 I'm sorry but you can't report 96gamerdude even me, I'm 15 yrs. old and I was doing my part to make everyone remember their precious Classic Disney Moments. I'm also interested about history but I like Classic Disney even more than reality. Try to imagine if Walt Disney hasn't done this from the start.

  • @TheAC29 you have a good point, im 13, Disney is my life, First Time I Went To Disneyland Was When I Was 3, i just loved it, i Still Love It A Lot, I Have The Pass To Go There In Fact, its a very fun experience. I Love Disneyland so Much That I Even Remember The Whole Disneyland Dedication By Heart, I Can Recite It At Anytime. But Yeah, Disneyland Is America's Most Loved Theme Park, and it was made by One Man With A Dream To Make People Happy. That Was A Very Big Dream, But I Thank Him For It<3

  • @lilmisscrazy120 Yeah, I have a question. Why did you capitalize the first letter of the every word?

  • @TheAC29 Cause im talking about Disney, Disney is Worth Capitlaizing, haha, well to Me it is

  • @Wig4 Committed near criminal activities "under McCarthy".... ? You're nuts. There was a meeting of the House Committee on Un-American Activities in the United States Congress.

Several people, including Mr. Disney, were called to speak before the committee. He sat for about twelve minutes and answered questions asked of him. I've seen the video. It's not that exciting. Disney describes the unionization attempt years earlier and the outside interests organizing it.

  • After Christ....Only Walt Disney was the GREATEST MAN THAT LIVED OVER THIS WORD

  • SkyHelison, You CAN say Walt was a great driving force, perfect orchestrator & coördinator, a perfectionalist in his industry.

But he was NOT a great artist or draughtsman: he just new how to CHOOSE the artists that worked for him & whose names are even SELDOM mentioned. That's one thing.

Worse is, what you say: =====SEE NEXT

  • Disneyland is the BEST THEME PARK EVER!!!!!:)

God bless Walt's soul for accomplishing this amazing piece of America:)

I was crying with joy throughout:)

  • @Californiagringo God bless Walt! Without him there would be no Mickey or Minny! Not even Oswald. Pirates of the Caribbean wouldn't even be thought of. There would never even be the greatest song heard by man: "It's a Small World".

  • @Californiagringo Disneyland should be declared a National Landmark.

  • Omg... i am crying right now... can you believe how much hard work this creative man put into this? He did this to make not only kids happy, but to make older people fell like they are young again. RIP Walt Disney.

  • DISNEYLAND is the best i've been their every year of my life........its way better than disney world

  • I also have been there every year of my life. It's a traditon for me to go on my brith-day since I spent my every first birth-day there. I love the park and can't wait for the exciting new things the imageneers cooked up at Disney's California adventure. Which is getting a new look to have the feel that walt saw when he first game to california.

  • really....im crying...this is my childhood....and walt disney is such an amazing man.....and he's so adorable and charming and creative and....seriously I could go on and on

  • i have always been amazes at the way the parks are maintained it always lookes like its just opened its immaculate never i peice of rubbish or peeling paint anywhere yet places are sometimes made to look ancient, we have taken my grandson to a few themed places in the uk and you cant help but notice the shabbiness of them and the unkept gardens, theres no comparison we go back every year excellent value for money

  • Does it really matter? Disneyland is just....well...special. Even though it is small, it is the only park Walt actually walked through himself.

  • exactly, there's no comparison. disney world may be bigger, but disneyland is walt himself. it's incredible to look at the window of the fire house and know that walt lived there, or that he walked down those streets.

  • @Sonamy94 I don't mean to be smutty and dirty, but if someone ever tells me that Disneyland is useless and a waste of money and needs to be demolished because Walt Disney World is better and 100 times bigger, then they can suck my balls!!!!!!

  • i agree

  • Disneyland, though small in size, will always be the truest and most magical of all of the parks....This brings back alot of memories...

  • yea good point

  • Oh my gosh im like crying right now why cant the do the old Mickey Mouse shows and keep DisneyLand the same when it was back in the day and was that Want Disney?

  • I agree with you. It was beautifull. I was in Disneyland in France, but it is wayy better in Orlando... But this is the real one :) omg... I'm crying... :D I just love it :) and when I'm there I feel like a real child .

  • u said it! Can you believe what walt disney did to this world! he maid it happy forever!!!!!

  • ws de sngs nme dat is bein playd sum1 plzz...o n luvli vid

  • This was the BEST video of Disneyland I have ever seen! I LOVE DISNEYLAND!!!

  • dude if walt saw what happend to his cartoons i think he would be dissapointed, he would be okay with pixar, but he would probably bring in more drawing cartoons than the new ones like all of them are either live action or digital he would go back to cartoon animation and thats a good thing if only walt were alive T_T

  • computer animation was the type of technology that walt had waited for all his life. he would be proud.

Also disney animation is going back to 2D

Princess and the Frog Christmas 2009

    search it.

  • thats good but i don't like the live action movies, they are really stupid especially this new one coming out about some freaking . hamsters? oh no it was about ginnuea pigs

  • disney live action movies have actually never been the best....

there are the few select old ones, and the few select new ones. But really you have to have a certain taste...

  • meh i just don't like molstly the new ones especially not the new air buddies * wait was air buddies ever disney?* there kind of getting annoying there just butchering it so they can get money i still like disney sort of, but i wish they had more cartoons or movies of mickey mouse donald or goofy, the only thing i see them use donald goofy or mickey on now is freaking mickey mouse clubhouse and no one wants to watch that except for really litlle kids.

  • yeah, some new good ones are like,, pirates, national treasure, narnia..

also...good ones coming out are tim burtons alice in wonderland, and scrooge with jim carrey. prince of persia.

but yeah G force looks retarded. but its disney.

  • wait alice in wonderland and scrooge are disney? i never knew that, well thats something to look forward to then :D wait is it scrooge mcduck or just scrooge like the regular one the live action or somethig?

  • Yes, Its a live action scrooge. with jim carrey. and alice in wonderland with tim burton. and johnny depp being the mad hatter will be awesome.

  • i heard about the alice in wonderland and johnny as the mad hatter but i never heard of the scrooge, but again i ask you why don't they ever use there other characters like mickey donald and goofy ???

  • well actually there was a brand new goofy cartoon that was released in 2007 titled

"how to hook up your home theater"

    so u should search that.

and im not sure why mickey and donald dont have cartoons anymore, but maybe we will see more of those in the future.

and i dont think you have to worry about mickey and donald dying out. They will always be around.

  • i heard about the goofy cartoon but i could never find it D:

  • dide you find it, just search

"how to hook up your home theater"

  • k i will try that

  • I love this song too! I have it on my iPod :)

  • nice

  • Woh! My Grandpa really looks like Walter Disney! Scary! And does anyone know where the dragon at 1:02 came from? 'cause I either don't remember, or it's not there anymore, or I've been missing one of the rides for 14 years.

  • i think the dragons from sleeping beauty

  • I had goosebumps when watching this video. Beautiful.

  • what year was this?

  • amazing. thanks for sharing

  • this is amazing, what song is this?

  • beautiful :]

Disney is the most amazing place on this earth :]

  • ahhhhhhhhh, this makes me want to be in Disneyland SOOOOOOOO badly!!!!!!!!

  • I love this song! :' ) Thank u so much for making!

  • What a beautiful video, fireurgunz!

  • I guess it´s California one, ´cause the first disney park was disneyland in california, the one thAT CREATED walt disney

  • Is this Disneyland in California or in Florida?

  • Yes... this is Disneyland in California. Florida's Disney park is actually Disney World! Walt was alive to see Disneyland open for 10 years while he only envisioned Disney World.

Disneyland is so close to the hearts of millions and I will always have dear memories in my heart!

  • actually he didnt even really envision disney world.

    He envisioned EPCOT.

which was going to be a community of the future.

  • NICE VIDEO
