  • Very simple and direct- This is exactly what I needed! Thanks.

  • Thanks!

  • This video = Hell yes.

  • thank you :)

  • Normaly the dishwasher drain tube is connected to the garbage disposer.

  • hi guys i installed my but for some reason after a cycle there is still water in the washer?? any tips

  • If you need live online plumbing help with any plumbing project check out vpvirtualplumbing on the web

  • Normally, the dishwasher drainage hose comes out at the TOP of the cabinet wall just below the countertop, not the bottom. When you do it that way, you don't have to do any looping up and fastening higher because it's already higher than the drain.

  • Thanks for the extremely useful info, I had the water backing up and could not figure out what the problem was, till i saw your video

  • Thank you so much for this video.

Was able to fix a drainage problem.

  • Thank you for this!

  • Wow. thats amazing. Thank you.

  • Thank you thank you thank you....you saved me a bit of money by this simple stuff...now the dishes are coming out really clean and there is no water...thanks again....

  • I did a cool thing to fix my dishwasher, it would be very interesting for you if you checked it out at hudsonvillegarage.

    Thanks.

  • Awesome!! Thanks! This helped me out a ton.

  • Bypassing an airgap not a good idea! If your made to then it's code and code minimum! Do you want the minimum protection on your dishwasher? NOPE! The airgap will help prevent gas intake into your dishwasher by drawing inside home air into the line rather than hazardous sewer gas into it during very brief times of suction from the motor.

  • no airgap???? mickey mouse plumber!!!!

  • Excellent! Just what I needed to know - I'm putting in a new drain.

  • yes it is a helpful video except for the dumbass who put his 2 cents in on the airgap. which by the way "pbr" i have installed hundreds of dishwashers without the airgap and they worked fine you dont need it unless your made to use it.

  • I just bypassed my AIRGAP because when the dishwasher drained water went all over. It continued to do so even after I replaced the AIRGAP Assembly. So I ended up calling my township and asked if they were needed and they said that they were not required to pass code here. It goes by township or county ordnance codes its not a law to have one. They did suggest a loop though and to make sure the top of the loop is higher than the bottom of the sink to prevent backwash.

  • The local "township or county" ordinance can not over ride a basic plumbing code rule from the state. If you need help installing an airgap call a licensed master plumber. It's not hard to put one in correctly.

  • first usefull video on dishwasher installation
